Arising Garage Doors

Well Gboe sounds like you should have been home. I have been a customer of theirs for over 15 years and I'm very satisfied and a matter fact have referred many friends to them. Perhaps if you work on your own opener they have a parts department with technical support if needed. You should have been able to fix it. One thing i will say is they warranty the product sold. Recently i ran into my door and the panel needed to be replaced. I bent my opener rail and they covered it. All i had to do was pay $45 for their service call as i have maintained my door yearly. Sounds like you should have done your homework. I am very pleased with their level of service. Maybe you should get the job done right than piece it together yourself. Every invoice i have ever received is printed out by computer. Your satisfaction doesn't even make sense sounds like you hit your own door to throw it off ""track"" which i did the same thing. Their is no relation to a motor burn. So try getting a professional to adjust your opener to avoid your problems. more

Classic example of the company that comes out and completely takes advantage of you and your family. I am very mechanically inclined but could not come across the part necessary to complete fixing my garage door so I decided to call them to finish the job. Keep in mind this was very self explanatory and simple to finish, so I made the appointment and explained exactly what was to be done to my wife. The man came out and fixed the part but then doubled the price with NO explanation for why the bill was $150 more! They tell you the $45 ""Service call"" is included in the overall price but they classically just double the cost on parts. My wife calls me to say this guy has no explanation for why the cost is so much higher and the invoice looked like a 5th grader created it, (no break-down of parts / labor). After agreeing to just pay the bill and be done with it the guy says the door will not work because the motor is burnt and the tracks are crooked!!!!!!! So basically I paid waaay too much for a door that STILL doesn't work! But don't worry it gets better......he tells my wife not to worry he can fix it for another $475! She tells him not to worry because her husband can fix it when he gets home. I come home from work after this company ruining my day and having my poor wife deal with crap only to take 30 SECONDS attaching the door back to the track and the door now works beautifully!!!!!!!!!!!!! 30 SECONDS it took for Arising Garage Doors quote of $475. I wonder how much it REALLY cost to fix the original part????? STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCHMUCKS!!!!! more
