All about the Fried Rice 7/18/2007

I have been eating at Arigato's at least once a month for years now. They have the best fried rice in town. The chef's are always entertaining and the kids always have a great time. We are constantly coming up with reasons to have dinner there - it's definitely one of my favorites. Pros: Definitely the food Cons: Seems to go up in price everytime we are there more

Favorite Japanese Place 7/17/2007

Arigato Steak House is my favorite Japanese restaurant in St. Petersburg. The service is great and the food is wonderful. The hibachi cooking style is really cool and always an entertainment to watch. Sometimes I forget that I have a plate of food in front of me! I would recomend this restaurant to any one who wanted a great night out but doesnt mind being in a group of people for dinner. Pros: Food and enviornment Cons: Price more

I must say, Arigato has been of the most fun and enjoyable dining experiences around. And the food is incrediable. My family and I have made this our ""special occasion"" place. We frequent for birthdays, mother's day, graduations, or just special days that make up as an excuse to eat there! This isn't the type of ""romantic"" resturants as you are sitting with strangers and it is very loud and a lot is going on. But I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good time and great food. Pros: Great food and serivce. Cons: Seems to be getting more and more expensive more

All Time Favorite Japanese Steakhouse 7/17/2007

Arigatos is by far the best restaurant I have ever eaten at! I have been going to Arigatos since I was young and have never had a bad experience with either the food or the service. My family does not live close to either location and have many choices of other Japanese steakhouses closer to our house. I made the mistake of opting to stay close to home to eat at Tokyo and I was extremely disappointed. Tokyo's food was disgusting. I will never do that again. I love the atmosphere, the food is the best, and the chefs always have a great show for all. more

Arigatos is our all time favorite family restaurant, year after year we have celebrated birthdays to births with great food and good times at Arigatos. We have graduated to the ""sumo"" entree, if you haven't tried this yet, its a ""must"", and it leaves you plenty left over to continue enjoying the experience the following day! This restuarant offers a unique dining experience which is enjoyed by everyone of all ages. more

Best place to bring the family! 7/17/2007

Nothing beats a full course Arigato dinner! Delicious soup and salad, rice and veggies, and fresh steak, chicken and seafood cooked right in front of you. The chefs put on a show and entertains kids as well as adults. Having 3 small children, time is important and we are generally in and out within 1 hour! Pros: Fresh, delicious food. Entertainment for the kids. Friendly staff. Cons: Fairly expensive. more

You can't go wrong with Arigato! The salad, soup, rice, vegetables, meat, and seafood are perfectly prepared and delicious. You get to watch the food being cooked right in front of you, while being entertained by the talent and humor of the chef. Your kids will watch in amazement! It's a very family-friendly atmosphere. Arigato has always been my number one choice for quality Japanese food. The restaurant is beautiful, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The servers and chefs are always smiling and cheerful, and will do their best to ensure a positive and memorable experience. Every other Japanese food restaurant falls short of Arigato. Best Japanese Food anywhere! 7/16/2007

They have the best food. All other Japanese Steakhouses are just trying to be imitator's. The service is exceptional. Our whole family picks it for any special occasion! And if we feel like a special place, just because, that is where we pick also. I have been going since the 80's, both of my kids (now 26 & 14 respectively) pick it out as there #1 place to go. We have celebrated, birthday's, anniversaries, and all other occasions there. We will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary and my 47th birthday there next week!!!!!! more

I love Arigatos because I like that the food is cooked right in front of me and the cooks make it a fun dining experience. They have the best rice in town and the goodie goodie sauce rocks. My co-workers and I usually try to make it out there every three months. We have had only good experiences when we've dined there. more

Delicious Experience 7/16/2007

Arigato Japanese Steak House is a great place to go for delicious food that is cooked right before your eyes. My family has been going there since 1990 and it is our restaurant of choice for birthdays and special events. The egg rolls are the best we have ever tasted and the dinners are amazing as well. It's always fun to watch what the cook might do while making your meal and see what tin foil creature your leftovers might become. The birthday cake is great too although we do dislike being asked if we want to share it with others, as it is a great snack to bring home! All in all, Arigato remains my favorite restaurant and one I would highly recommend to anyone. Pros: Food, Experience Cons: Price more
