Book nerds rejoice 5/18/2006

You might find this store a bit intimidating, but it's the coolest thing ever! I just bought my gf a book from 1661 there. Really. Not a typo. And they have a huge section dedicated to old maps, and they sell lots of cool antique prints for $10 and $20. This is a great place to go if you like old objects, are searching for an out of print or antique book, or want to purchase a truly unique object for yourself or as a gift. more

Out Of Print Books Prints 7/9/2005

This shop has been around forever. Well for at least 30 or 40 years. Outside they have some racks set up with books they are looking to dump cheap and you can find some bargains. Inside the shelves are full of out of print tomes. Upstairs they have beautiful mounted prints and maps. It's a fascinating step back in time. Not real kid friendly but outside of that a fun place to shop. more

Vintage Books and prints 7/7/2005

This store occupies a whole 4 story building. They sell all sorts of rare and out of print books. They also sell some old autographs and have a really cool selection of old prints and maps. The maps are great to look at and aren't really that expensive when you consider you are buying something 100+ years old that looks great in a frame. I'm sure alot of the things on sale here can be purchased cheaper elsewhere but these guys are pros and can really help you get what you need. more
