The best place in Hollywood for a skirt steak is either Mama Mia's or (believe it or not) the Transylvania Restaurant which is a romanian restaurant. The skirt steak at the Transylvania is amazing. The Argentango is all hat and no cattle anymore. Pros: Great Looking! Cons: Bad Cooking. more

I'm very sad to have to write this review. We have been going to Argentano for over five years and in the last 3 months have seen it going on a spiral straight DOWN! My latest and last experience there was last Saturday night. There was a chip on my glass, when I brought this to the attention of the server, she ran her finger around the rim of the glass, and told me there was no chip and continued to put the glass back down in front of me to finish my diet coke. That was just the start! She then brought out wrong salad and argued with us that we ordered them. We had to ask several wait staff for more rolls (we were a party of six, and they gave six rolls) as well as for more chimichurri. As a matter of fact after the steaks were served, we still didn't have the chimichurri. Our fried sweet potatoes never came. The churasco is big enough for three hungry people and is cooked to perfection. Everything on the menu is great and ther servers are not hovering around you constantly. Very relaxing and comfortable place to eat. more

While visiting my son, he suggested we dine at Argentango Grill in Hollywood, Fl. Unfurtunately, we drew the short straw and got the Monager-on-duty as our wairer. I am sorry we bothered him at all. His attitude was offensive, he was totally inattentive to us or our dining needs. He displayed the most indifferent attitude I have recently experienced. The food was so-so, but worst of all was that a regular hostess had to apologize for the negelect and inaccuraces in our orders. We will not be back! When we arrived we saw signs for Valet but there was no valet around, guess due to construction going on right in front. That did not discourage my date and me. We were seated proptly and the waitress was supper dupper over friendly (touching me.) The Churrasco was delicious and large enough for two. Had to take the rest home. All meals are large enough for two! Very tasty... The ambience set the comfort mood!!!!! When I was there they had on a tribute to John Lennon, great! The Provancal French Fries are a must, and are totally addictive. Try them out! But it's the quality of meat that is very good even when compared to other steakhouses charging much more. The value here gets me. more

I went in because it was highly recommend by a friend, not knowing how good the steak really was, but I was totally surprised by how amazing the desserts were. Don't get me wrong, everything was really good, but the desserts...........to die for. Really really good. more
