This is supposed to be one of the higher class places to host a wedding in Sacramento, but as it turns out it truly is low class. The first clue should have been when the groomsmen and groom had to get dressed in the mens public restroom. I felt like I needed a shower after getting dressed. Especially since the floor was wet with god knows what and we were all walking around barefoot trying to get dressed. The staff that came in while we were getting dressed kept making rude comments to us. Arden Hills does not have a private room for the groom and his guys to get dressed, or leave any belonings. The bridal room is cramped with no place to hang dresses and other clothes, and it is located in a back hallway that all the service workers use to access the banquet rooms. The bride and girls are provided drinks and snacks before the service, but the guys get to SHARE a members only area with any other wedding party that is there and members. The event planner was no where to be found most of the time. She provided very little guidance. The rest of the staff were rude and unaccomadating. For example, my daughters were in the wedding party and the staff escorted the girls and me to the bridal room. As I was getting them settled I asked where I could hang their dresses and the staff memeber looked around and told me to hang them on the hinge of the door. The reception demonstrated even futher that they have no clue how to handle an event. The hordourves were circulated briefly then flopped on the table, and they were cold. The kids at the wedding were given childs plates and the food was ice cold. The rest of the food was luke warm. The wait staff did not serve the bridal party first, or at the same time. This was a small wedding with only about 100 people. If I could give it no stars above I would. If I was the brides father I would be sitting in the managers office this morning after cancelling my check to renegotiate what exactly I am paying for.\r
