Pretty good, but not fabulous 8/13/2005

Ardan is located in Wellesley Square, and is currently being expanded and renovated. I went here once, instead of my usual salon and was somewhat disappointed. My appointment was with the owner, who was very friendly, but my layered cut was really bottom heavy, and in a few weeks, already needed cutting again. He also does not do highlights - there are different people in the salon who do that. Prices here are very reasonable. Overall, I think this place is good for simple styles, but not great. more

Good for a nicer Manicure and Pedicure 8/6/2005

I went here for my pre-wedding manicure and pedicure. The upstairs is a hair salon and the lower level is where they do nails. It isn't as fancu as some places, but it is nicer than the run-of-the-mill nail shops. They do a good job and you don't feel too rushed. I would definitely recommend going there over a generic nail salon. more
