I'm a fan of fictions and I'm glad that there's a book store that offers the latest release at a very affordable price. I also love the accessories they are selling here. Perfect for book lovers. more

Archives Books 10/25/2008

A pretty good place to start if you are looking for an antique book, a rare book or an out of print book. As a historian, I sometimes like to go in and just peruse some of the maps you see in some of the old books. I believe the owners of this store also own "Curious books down the road, which sells everyday used books for a bargain. A nice place to stop. more

Great place antiques and collectables 5/9/2006

This place has a huge selection. Most of the books are older books with a lot of collectables and also rare 1st ed. books. It's nice for collectors but if you are looking for something new (ie. a common read) then maybe this place is not for you. My friend is the kind that like collecting antique books, hard to find books, and this place is just right for him. The staff are friendly and nice and since their variety are so big, it won't hurt to ask the staff to locate what you want if you have specifics in mind. more

More than a used book store 9/9/2005

While Archives Book Shop is ostensibly a used book store, it really focuses more on the collectible side of things. That's not to say that you're not going to find a Stephen King book there, but you won't pay attention to it because you'll be too busy looking through the antique books, first editions and antique paper products. Despite housing so much collectible stuff, while my friends and I browsed through the store we never once felt like the store clerk was keeping his eye on us, which can be rare in a place like that. more
