The staff was very attentive and made sure we got what we needed to complete our project, and more importantly, talked us out of what wouldn't have worked or was superfluous. Fun place to browse. more

Poor customer service 7/16/2009

RUDE RUDE RUDE. That’s what I have to say about the customer service at Architectural Salvage. The owner, I’m not sure what her name is, treats you really well when you’re spending a lot of money at her store, but if you purchase something that doesn’t work and want a store credit be ready to expect a poor customer experience. \r \r Kansas City has many great architectural treasure troves. I don’t recommend doing business with such an unprofessional business owner.\r more

Interesting Antique Hardware & difficult to find vintage items 7/15/2006

I loved browsing in this treasure-trove of a place. Easy to find in a neat old warehouse part of town, the variety of items is overwhelmingly wonderful. They carry vintage EVERYTHING from light fixtures, door knobs & seltzer bottles to a carousel rooster! I especially loved the old leaded glass panels and children's riding toys. With reasonable prices and helpful folks running the place, you can lose yourself back in time. Try your luck on the antique (& free) One-Armed-Bandit or buy an iron longhorn towel holder- they have it all. Pros: Unique variety of vintage hardware & other items more
