This is a good store. If you have a problem or are trying to research an animal, the people at A&I will do all they can to help you? They take time to help you with setting up habitats and lighting. They don’t push you to buy stuff you won’t need. They carry a large selection of high quality food for a variety of species of animals. \r This is not a pet store you can buy dogs or cats. Thank you for not supporting puppy mills. It is a pet store that carries exotics. People come in to gawk and stare at the animals. Their questions are welcomed and answered politely. Never are people ignored like in other pet store I have visited. \r It is a shame people can take the time to put up an uninformed post. Take 5 minutes to read up on an animal before you post for the world to see.\r Thank you for your years of service.\r more

I have done business at this store for years. On the contrary, I find the animals to be well cared for. While aesthetically the store is not fancy, it is well equipped. ""Fancy"" generally= more expensive. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I have seen first hand the refusal of the owner to sell a reptile he wasn't certain was in tip-top health; but he also has the capability of nursing these animals back to health. The man has what far too many proprietors lack- integrity.\r \r As for the croc, it appears to be very healthy. It's tank was up-sized last year and he seems to be thriving.\r \r I would recommend this store (and have many times) to anyone. more

***To the critics writing constantly about the Crocodile (not gator) We were called by the state to remove the animal from a gated community! He was released, let go, abandoned! So the option was uthinize this animal-OR- give him to a croc farm! Where he would be raised to his adult size (which he has been for a while now) AND KILLED for his hide. BOOTS,PURSES,WALLETS and such! These animals do not require much space! THEREFORE is quite a great buisness to be in...IF YOU DONT MIND KILLING A PET! He has been established in a well equipped cage,fed well,clean,healthy AND HAS A OUTSIDE enclosure!!! Where he does enjoy sunlight and fresh air! ** We have tried to offer this information to customers!! Yet some people just need a reason to complain! Wild life and other agencys have come many times to check ALL our animals! ALL have been cared for extreemly well. You can NOT release a species that is not indiginious to the state or country! ** (Incase you are not educated about such laws)!! ----- We welcome suggestions,ideas....! But just randomly writing a review you obviously have no education on seems a bit ignorant. If you would like to care for this animal--PLEASE, come help us! DAILY-Clean his fecal matter / urine,wash his rocks,scrub his enclosures, and the costly feeding to keep him healthy!\r \r \r \r \r #2-------The store has made many changes! Animals are well cared for! We never sell any animal sick! Most people that are not happy happen to be people that have lost a fish! Without proper knowledge of how to maintain a aquarium! Or how/or what can be kept in the same tank! We have replaced fish, even though a persons tank was not healthy! No we do not always replace fish, ESPECIALLY when you dont bring us water to check ! All animals are well fed, clean DAILY! Jim sets up tanks for exibits/ personal/many of the bussuniesses you see tanks in--he maintains or has set up! If you have the time to listen and do it correctly you will have a beautiful tank! And a happy animal! Jim often takes sick animals, just because people dont care about them anymore! He has worked in zoos around the world! with animals from bugs,lions,hippos,elephants,bears,large cats,exotic birds,fish and more! If he does not know the answer, he will surely find out! And the correct one!! About the most fair/ honest store owner I have met! No the store isnt totally up to date! He enjoys his work! And does not make millions taking advantage of his customers! more

I thought I would be sick when I saw the the Speckeled Caimen ( alligator) in a tank at the front door!! Owner claims to be an expert in building animal habitat's. Are you kidding!! This business needs to be closed! I only hope to find a way to get these animals a home they deserve. I would like to put the owner in a tank for 10 years as this animal has been!! There are other animals in this building as well shame on this business owner!! more
