I purchased a dishwasher with a 5 years extended warranty. 18 months later, the dishwasher starts leaking. I called for a service, the technician diagnosed a leaking motor. He said it will take 4 days to order the part. 2 days later, the warranty company called me and said they have to replace the dishwasher, but since Appliance Smart don't have a dishwasher with the same price, they will send me a refund for the price I paid the dishwasher for, but the129.95 I paid for the warranty won't be refunded. I went to Appliance Smart and found 3 dishwashers in the same price range of mine. I explained my case to a salesperson, he said he will talk to his manager and get back to me, I have not heard back from them. A few days later a check with the price of the dishwasher came in the mail, the $129.95 I paid for the warranty are gone. This is just a ripoff, the warranty serves the company not the consumer. more

I have wonderful service at this Appliance Smart. The sale associate walked me through everything (I'm new to buying appliances) and the financing process. I bought the appliances for a house I was buying, which fell through and I found another house but can't get in until a few more months. I talked to the sales rep again and she talked to her manager and they said they could store my appliances for as long as I need until I get into the new house. Everyone was very helpful, nice, and not pushy at all. more
