STAY AWAY! THESE PEOPLE TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. THEY LIE TO YOU, TELL YOU YOUR WASHER IS NOT FIXABLE AND JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE ONE WITH THEM TO SELL YOU. MY WASHER WAS FIXED FOR $75 BY ANOTHER COMPANY AND THESE MORONS TOLD US IT WAS GOING TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE TO FIX THE WASHER THAN IT WOULD BE TO BUY A NEW ONE. MY WASHER COST $699 NEW. THEY WANTED MY WASHER AND $450 FOR A PIECE OF JUNK HE BROUGHT WITH HIM.
This ""company"" is very unreliable, nearly impossible to contact and seem to be complete idiots.
I wish I would have found these reviews before hiring them to fix our washer. They promised to come out the next morning, no call, no show. After calling and leaving messages 5-6 times over the next 2 days , someone FINALLY showed up. He didn't seem to know what he was doing, talked to us as if he didn't know what to say. After attempting to take the washer apart using improper tools, pliars and a screwdriver. He bent parts out of wack prying pieces apart. I am no repairwoman, but surely, you shouldn't ahve to do that. He told us the washer was going to cost more to fix than it was worth and tried to sell us a new ""used"" washing machine he happened to bring with him for $450 with ""our trade"". When we refused to purchase the washer, he demanded we pay a service fee of $150. We absolutely refused this and told him to get out of our house before we called the police. He left without putting our machine back together. I immediately called another company, (Cooper), they came out within 2 hours, took a look at our washer after putting it back together. He diagnosed it, told us it was a $27 part and he had it with him. He put the part in and the washer works again. Funny, Appliance service of Florida said it was fubar, (HIS EXACT WORDS!!), Cooper came out, was prepared and fixed it up for less than $75.00. I have no problem paying for the service call and having my machine fixed. How dare appliance service of Florida demand we pay $150 ""service call"" when they did absolutely nothing but lie to us and try to sell us a piece of junk for 3 times the amount of the service call? Stay away from appliance service of Florida. They are incompetent, unreliable and they try to steal your equipment. I absolutely agree with Kim, this was our worst experience ever. We will never EVER contact them again and suggest the same for anyone needing any appliance repairs. It is strange, we couldn't get in contact with them but now they call us demanding we give them the $150 service fee or they will sue us. You have to be kidding. You and your company disrespected our property and us and you demand payment for that? You tried to steal our $600 washer, make us buy your $50 garage sale washer for $450 and you were going to fix our washer and resell it to the next unknowing consumer. SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY! I have contacted the BBB about them. We are not the only people they have done this to.
