I will say that Dr. Lott can be a very useful vet. My girlfriend takes her dog there and they seem to have no problems at all. I have also heard stories from close friends that Dr. Lott has saved there animals from diseases such as parvo. However, I went to Dr. Lott with my new puppy who was sick with distemper. After Lott diagnosed my dog with the disease, he said he would follow up with information about possible treatment if any, as well as a way to take care of my dog if anything had to happen. However, even after my attempts to contact him again over the next week or so, I did not hear anything back. Thankfully, my dog somehow survived the disease and is fine now. However, Dr. Lott left me without any information on how to help my dog combat the disease. Maybe he didn't take me as serious as he does some of his other clients due to me being a college student, but I paid all my bills up front and gave him no reason to think that I was not good business for him. Dr. Lott is the only vet out of four that stopped my Chihuahua from having seizures. He also successfully performed knee surgury on another of our much loved pets. Dr. Lott is very intelligent, knowledgeable of all uptodate procedures and is so good with his patients---being an animal lover himself. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an excellent vet! His office is clean and organized. His help is very prompt, helpful and take great care of their patients. more

I was extremely impressed with the quality of this clinic. My dog had a seizure one morning, I called my normal vet and the answering service answered and told me that she was out for the day. So they called Abbleby Clinic for me. Right when I walked in they took my dog in immediately. They were very nice and informative, where as my other vet is normally very uninformative, and could care less. Their prices a little higher, but the quality is way worth it. If you care about your pet as much as I do, you would definitely take them to Abblebys. I also informed them that I do not get paid until Friday, so they held my check until then for me. They also asked me if I would like to write two separate checks and hold them until certain dates. They make you feel very comfortable. I promise if you take your pet here you will be as pleased as I was. more

Appleby Sand Road Animal. Clinic can take care of all of your dog or cat's needs! They offer check ups, vaccinations, spaying & neutering. The Dr. is a very nice man & very knowledgeable. The staff are very friendly. My cat got really sick once when she was a kitten. I took her to them & she recovered after getting a penicilan shot. They also had me feed her some kind of special kitten formual for a little while. I had to post date my checks & they were nice about letting me do that. They also sell flea medication & high quality pet food for dogs & cats. I think they are a little more expenxive on some of their services than other vets are, though. more
