Portions were small, drinks are over priced, but most of all, they don't serve bread with their meat. I don't go to restaurants that don't serve bread with their meals. When I asked for bread, the waitress said that they do have hamburger buns. Are you kidding me? more

Bad Service / Bad Food 1/1/2010

This evening we had dinner at the Applebees in Parsippany, New Jersey. Our appetizer was delivered to the wrong table. The waitress was told by the diners at that table that they hadn't ordered it and she brought it to us asking if it was OK because the other diners hadn't touched it. We declined and asked for a new order. That set our meal back by 15 minutes. Next, we were told that the baked potatoes would not be ready in time for our meal and my husband would have to order something as a substitute. My rice was dry and tasted as if it had been under a heat lamp for a while. The four people at the next table told the waitress that they were not happy with their rice either. Not a pleasant dinner. more

Applebee's is ok 4/15/2006

They promote their ribs as if they are good. There are many many restaurants I would rather eat ribs at. Damon's, Tiffany's, Chili's, just to name a few. They are like any other chain restaurant but no meal is anything special. I'll eat there if someone wants to go there but I wouldn't go here intentionally. Plenty of parking and staff is nice. more

This is the place to go especially this month if you like ribs. They have the unlimited riblets. They taste so good. This restaurant is another noisy, happy place to be. You do have a bit of a wait if they are busy. The menu is varied. There is a large attractive bar ffor thosewho want it. Parking is good. I always like Applebees. more
