All our creatures great and small are fortunate to have Dr. Norma watch over them. Appointments are made in a timely fashion and the wait in the office is never long. Our pets enter a clean and safe environnment and are given good care and affordable prices in this overwhelming economy. We have brought in strays from farms and our neighborhoods to be fixed and have been grateful for her care in helping to control pet populations. She cares, it shows. Thank you. more

I drive all the way from Sharpsburg, Maryland to see these people! I have four dogs, (two from my momma passing, Corgi's and my two dogs shepherd mix and sheltie /fox mix) and frankly, I think this Vet is fantastic! Who needs "fluff" when you just need a doctor that is competent? Trust Norma. And love, love, love the receptionist, Melissa! I love you guys! My sweet dogs love you too! more

I took my daughters cat of 11 years to this vet today. My daughter is out of town and frankly having to do what must be done for her cat was going to be to hard for her to witness. Not wanting to have to put this kitty to sleep was not our first choice. In fact all aves have been explored. No one would want a cat that pees and poops any where she wants to including your babies crib.We were not going to risk finding this cat a new home for fear someone would hurt her when she didn't use the liter box. This is not a new problem it's sad but it's been a issue with her cat for many years and she just cleaned up the messes everyday because she loves this kitty so much. I made the appt, I explained all of this and was under the impression that she was going to be put to sleep. We all prepared ourselves for this very sad situation but no other chocie She has tried numorous things for many years.. We know it isnt a medical problem, she has seen her vet numorous times in Florida where we were l more

We've seen Dr. Norma since we moved here. She is blunt but that is what we needed. We didn't want anything sugar coated when our beloved Am. Eskimo devloped Hepatitis. She took one look and referred us to an animal hosp. I called her to talk with her about the treatment and things they were telling us and she explained it all to me where I could understand. $5000.00 and a week later we brought our sweet baby home, she lived another 3 years thanks to the great care we received. She gets irritated when people think they can give their pets people food or medicines without repercussions. That is sooo not true. She's wonderful and top notch in the veternarian field. Please don't knock her for being honest, truthful and upfront. She has nothing to hide. more

The best in the area! 12/20/2009

Apple Tree is the BEST! Great care, amazingly inexpensive prices. I have been a client of Dr. Norma's for over 15 years. As the owner of 4 dogs and a breeder I not only go to Apple Tree, but I recommend them to all of my clients and friends, and each of them has been impressed with the excellent care they receive. To the person who complained about their bill, I would suggest that you call around to local vets and ask them to price those services for you...you will see that you got a BARGAIN, and for better service. more

Top Notch Veterinarian 10/8/2009

Michelle d. You should get off your high horse. You received the best care that anyone could receive for their pet. Where do you get off saying that they are in it for the money? Why shouldn't the vet charge a fee for having to the leg work for you!? I would say, go somewhere else. What are you really looking for? She is an excellent veterinarian! more

Apple Tree Animal Clinic is a good vet clinic 10/7/2009

I have been taking my dog to Apple Tree for the past 10 years. I think they are great. I disagree with the comment that Apple Tree is in it for the money when it comes to ordering scripts. I paid $5 for them to fax over my script to an online pharmacy so I could buy my medications cheaper. THey had ABSOLUTELY no problem with this. They just put the fee on my chart and I conveniently paid it on my next vist. IT was NO big deal at all. Most vets charge a fee for this b/c this is WORK on their part so they SHOULD charge a fee. It always amazes me when people feel that other people should do everything for free. Norma has to pay her employees also. Furthermore, of course they charge more for scripts. They can't order in huge quantites like big online companies can. Working at a human hospital, I am, unfortunately, quite familiar with whiners who feel ENTITLED to everything. So what if they paid $200. I paid $2500 for my pet's care and I never complained b/c that is part of owning a pet. more

Dr. Norma is the GREATEST! 9/18/2008

Dr. Iniqui is an outstanding veterinarian. She was trained at the University of Georgia Vet School (I attended Grad School at UGA) and I can tell you that the training she received there is in the top 10 in the country! Our cat accidentally swallowed a threaded needle and Dr. Iniqui performed the surgery to remove it. She had to make several incisions in our cat's intestines which can cause severe infection in the body cavity if not done properly. Our cat continued to run a fever and Dr. Iniqui was concerned about peritonitis (due to leakage from the bowel incisions), so we took our cat to the Leesburg Animal Emergency Clinic. The fever was apparently due to a mild infection in the fatty layer in the abdomen, a tissue which is not well vascularized, so antibiotics given orally weren't reaching the infection site. Leesburg treated our pet and she recovered. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Dr. Iniqui and the Leesburg Emergency Clinic for saving our pet. You can bet that all need more

In it for the money ... 7/23/2008

Our family just moved to Jefferson County and recently had an emergent need for a vet for our cat. We were seen within 24-hours of the request for an appointment.\r \r Staff was rude and abrupt during our visit and did not seem compassionate or concerned with the needs of our pet.\r \r We were alll very upset when we left, but relieved the health concern was not as bad as it 1st seemed. Although we would need a daily prescription for the rest of our pet's life.\r \r Here's where the problem really got ugly - APPLE TREE CLINIC wants your money. The needed prescription for our cat would cost us $47 for a 30-day supply if we purchase from Apple Tree Clinic - however, we can purchase a 4-month supply thru an on-line pet medication service for less. Apple Tree REFUSES to provide us with a written prescription or convey the approval for such to the vendor. THEY WANT OUR MONEY & will only authorize the prescription if we purchase from them! We were even asked to pay a fee to them before they more

The Best 7/16/2008

Dr. Norma and her staff have been a very important part of our family for almost 17 years. I can't imagine not being able to call her or her staff for information or help or having to take any of our critters to anyone else! Ever. more

An Excellent Vet - unless you have it coming! 3/29/2008

We have been a client of Dr. Inqui's for many years. Dr. Inqui will love and care for ANY animal. We are often told she has been rude or downright confrontational to some of her client's owners, but, in most cases, the owners had it coming. It is obvious Dr. Inqui became a vet to give excellent care to her clients. However, if Dr. Inqui feels the owners are not caring for her clients appropriately, she will not offer any respect for the owner. We love her, and her staff, and know we can trust any information and care she gives our dogs. If you take care of you animals and are willing to listen to the advice she gives, you too will love her veterinary skills.\r The reason she, and her staff, deserves all 5 stars! more

Best Vet Ever! 1/18/2008

Dr. Norma has taken care of my pets for over fifteen years. \r Dr. Norma is direct when she makes a diagnosis, as intelligent doctors are. She would never over charge or "fluff a bill" for personal gain. I now live 300 miles away, but still rely on Dr. Norma for her expert advice. WE LOVE YOU NORMA! more

oh my god 11/2/2007

Dr. Norma Inqui graduated as a Vet, but OBVIOUSLY not in human tact.. she needs a few lessons in how to speak to people with respect and KINDNESS.. I don't doubt she can be good vet- but really needs to work on her verbal communication with a little more, oh I don't know "HUMAN" ness ?? compassion? things along that nature more

Highly recommended 5/24/2007

If it had not been for the doctor and staff at Apple Tree Animal Clinic I am certain my beagle (and best friend) of nearly 9 years would no longer be with me. After my dog accidentally ingested rodent poisoning and we were turned away from one animal hospital, I called Apple Tree Animal Clinic. After explaining to the receptionist what had happened, the veterinarian came to the phone and told me to bring him in. It sounded to her that he was bleeding internally. After testing his blood, she was correct. He was given a shot of Vitamin K and pills to take for several weeks. I am happy to report that he seems to have made a full recovery. I can not thank them enough! more

Finding a good vet is very important. 5/25/2005

I feel comfortable with Dr. Norma Inqui and her staff. They are professional and helpful, and also very personable. They took excellent care of my two dogs. more
