Apple Schools

Apple school is a daycare-prschool that has been present in the Columbia community for years. The is a reason why this daycare-preschool ahs been around for so log and will continue to be around. The school is child friendly, the staff are warm and caring with the children and the classrooms are good sized. The kids don't feel like they have cramped up in their space and they have room to move. They keep the kids buzy with child friendly projects and the kids come home with art work they are proud of! I think the cost is reasonable for the care and the fact that it has been around for a long time, gives me confidence that the staff takes good care of the kids. The school is clean and cared for. This school is a bit pricey (about $30/day fulltime and $40.00/day part-time), but my daughter loves it. The classrooms are over-sized (about the size of a public school art room) with degreed head teachers. Kids are self-contained by age. The outdoor play area is the best with custom-built, low to the ground bridges and slides. Director Nancy Watrous is very motherly and knows all the kids by name. Great little preschool. They are small enough to really know your child. They have a nice playground outside and watch the children carefully. Kids really learn a lot here! more
