APPLE MOVERS IS GOOOOOOOOD. 3/6/2011

I knew moving is stressful and handling everything alone will not be a easy.\r Without spending time in thinking if it will be possible for me to do it myself. I started searching for a full service moving company. I came across this moving company. While checking the sites I found that this company is actually like a directory. I mean you they can give you all type of moving services. I directly called them and told them everything. they assigned a mover to carry out my move.\r \r The moving agent did not made me wait instead they were 7 minutes early according to my time. I liked watching them pack my stuff. The way they packed the stuff made me feel that ""Oh its so easy and anyone can do it"". I gave it a try. But then REALIZED that packing requires good practice and skill.\r \r The move went well.\r You should definitely consider using this moving company for your next move! more

This was one of the best experiences we've ever had with a moving company. They showed up on time, were very friendly and polite, they protected all of the floors and door ways and were some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. We hired 3 people since we lived at the bottom of about 3 flights of stairs with no elevator. They were a lot quicker than we expected them to be. I've had bad experiences in the past with moving companies - charging per step from the truck to the door, purposely over-using packing materials so they can charge more for them, charging mileage from place to place, charging for more time than it actually took. 1st Dallas Movers did none of these things and they were a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely use this company again and I'd recommend them to anyone moving. I can't say enough good things about them! Thanks guys! more

the moving crew that was sent to my house to pack and load/transfer my items were the best bunch of movers i have ever had and i've moved half a dozen times both locally and long distance. i moved with north american, graebel and some local movers and this experience was the most professional. 3 days from pick up to delivery and the price was less than quoted. would recommend apple movers more

Had to Call 911 on Them 9/2/2010

* Movers took the job knowing about spiral staircase at new house. Details listed on contract as proof I told them up front. * Dropped and shattered our $1800 headboard within 10 min of arrival. * Took 2 hrs to load 2 rooms (bedrm, dining, all other furn sold before move). * Took smoke breaks on the clock. * Refused to take furniture up spiral staircase at new house. Called boss (Randy, owner). * Boss tried to force us to pay $350 BEFORE unload, AND sign waiver of liability for damage and acceptance of liability for injury or he would instruct men to leave with our things on the truck. I refused. * Had to pull my truck in front of theirs and call 911 for help. * Cops threatened to take movers to jail for larceny if they left with our things. Reminded them we had a contract. * After hour long argument btwn cop and owner of Apple, men finally unloaded things to garage only and rec'd $200 payment from my husband. * Had to move things in ourselves, bedrm furniture still in garage 5 days later. Calling lawyer to collect for headboard / breech of contract (we had $3k insurance on furniture with the movers, but doubt they will make good on it). more

Horrible moving experience 8/12/2009

Our quote was 4 times lower than what we were charged. The movers that showed up were very sloppy and goofed off while packing and moving. Several of our items were broken and damaged and the person we filed a claim with was brutal to communicate with. The check we received was a joke compared to the damage and expensed that incurred during this move. I would not recommend this company to anyone!! Cons: damaged personal items more
