What a wonderful place. 10/7/2009

What a treasure! I've passed by for years and just recently stopped in. The staff was so friendly and all of their pieces were beautiful. They had great little gift items and I was surprised at all the services they offered. I decided to have a chair that belonged to my great grandmother recovered and refinished there. It tured out so beautifully, I know she would be proud. It will be a regular stop for me from now on. more

What a treasure! 10/7/2009

I've passed by this shop for years and finally had the opportunity to stop it. The staff was so friendly. The shop was clean, organized and brimming with all sorts of goodies, not to mention, it smelled wonderful! I was able to find the perfect gift for a very difficult to buy for friend! I can't wait to go back. I'm even planning to have them recain my grandfather's old rocking chair! Pros: Friendly staff and beautiful items Cons: Limited hours more

Great Finds!!! 11/10/2005

Apple Core is a neat store where you can wonder around for hours looking at all the little stalls (each is maintained by the person who rents it). They have lots of antiques and collectibles and a lot of crafts. Everytime you are there - there is something different. I never leave empty handed. There are a lot of "smalls" there that are a good price and hard to find little items. The staff is nice and a lot of time you can find people who have booths in the mall wondering around and they can be very helpful too! more

We can fix damaged or loose spindles,missing or bubbled veneer,wobbly or broken chair legs and backs,chewed or scratched wood. Upholstery- When you bring us a piece of furniture to be upholstered you can have the peace of mind that it will be of the highest calibre workmanship available. Caning- This is a specialty job that requires old world craftsmanship and we are up to the task! There are several forms of caning that we do including hand caning,inserts,rushing,and woven materials. Flo rals- One of the reasons the Apple Core is such a feast for the eyes is that it's filled with wonderful florals such as wreaths and garlands for every season,potted florals in interesting containers,and loose stems.
