Mr. Lucky, a real homebody/office dog, has been a return customer here for boarding and spa dates (bath & toenails) since 2005. When we start up the big hill to A K-9, he nearly jumps out of the car with excitement! No kidding! And no wonder, everybody there loves on Mr. L., he enjoys all the dog company, and especially can't wait to walk, sniff, and you-know around the big yards around the kennels. This place is a dog's heaven. more

  • My interest in training started with my first Doberman. Owning a Doberman was and remains a serious responsibility to me. They are my largest pleasure in life, next to my two legged family. Started training as a hobby and competing in various sports in 1995. What a wonderful time in my life. Finding what I truly loved to do. After several years I decided to work with the public and opened AK9 in 2001. My goal everyday is to make a positive effect in peoples lives.
