Appalachian Animal Hospital

Drs. Wade and Essick saved our little Kaci's life--not only once, but twice!! We have two toy poodles that have been near death twice, once from a birth defect and once from a poison causing one of them to have kidney failure. Both Drs. Wade and Essick has spent many hours after closing time with us. Dr. Wade even met us in her office on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to administer IV's to Kaci until we could get him to VA Tech Veterinary Medical Hospital!! Everyone at Appalachian Animal Hospital is so friendly and helpful. "Everyone" knows Kaci and Kodi by name and treats them like they were their little babies. We think of our pets as family and we wouldn't take our children and drop them off anywhere we didn't feel very comfortable with!! We have been patients at Appalachian Animal Hospital for about the last 7 years. more

We have went to this hospital only once and would never go back. We were not pleased with the staff. They seemed cold and uncaring. We did not want to leave our dog in a place we thought it might not get good care. They hours arent all that good either. We were just not happy with the service at all. more
