First visited Apoll Pizza about ten years ago. Have been coming back for pizza countless times and have never been disappointed. The crust is the best I've had anywhere. The owner is always pleasant and makes sure you are satisfied with your order and with his pizza. The prices are fair. When we want pizza, Apollo is best! more

Best pizza in the Valley. I've traveled many times out of my way for my favorite pizza restaurant to cook me their BBQ Chicken Pizza. Have come back repeatedly for almost 20 years because the quality and satisfaction I get out of every pie I've ordered. Great place to bring the family for pizza night. more

I decided not to drive the extra 8 minutes to go to Roseland and I'm sorry I didn't The large pie I ordered was burned on the bottom, greasy (and not from any olive oill). White pizza had a "funky" not good taste. Very disappointing. The Grecko-Roman salad was the only saving grace for the meal! I've been an on and off customer during the years and this breaks the straw on the camel's back! The last time I went there I ordered a sausage grinder and I got a bread a cheese sandwich on a grinder roll with a hint of sausage. Overpriced, too. It's hard to figure out what's worse - Apollo or Domino's. A very, VERY disappointing experience - I'm still saying my amens to the friends I invited over to dinner. Save your money and go somewhere like Roseland in Derby or Modern in New Haven - I've never been disappointed by either. This was the last time I will set foot in the Apollo in Derby - they deserve NO STARS !!! more
