Anything Goes Clothing Consignment Shop

Each time I have gone to this shop the woman behind the counter has profiled me. Whenever I ask about items behind the counter she comments on the higher price on those items. She all but says I wouldn't be able to afford them so she never answers my question. I have been in this shop several times and usually get the same response. I will never go back. I'll spend my money else where. They should not pre judge their customers. more

If I am taking the time to write a review it is worth checking out. It went above and beyond my expectations. Brand names, brand new, moderate prices, very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I loved every minute of it and found GREAT deals!! I will be back on a periodic basis. And I will be speading the word! more

This is a friendly, well stocked consignment shop in Fairport specializing in designer brands. Merchandise is current styles, very gently used and selection is normally good. They have it separated by category and items are usually easy to find. I like the shop particularly for shoes and handbags. There is always a good selection, and I often find new, never used merchandise. more

Anything Goes has a nice selection of name-brand and high-end clothing, with an emphasis on women's items. They always have a great selection of accessories. I find them to be too high priced in comparison to other local consignment stores, but they tend to have more upscale names. Their childrens' clothing selection is hit or miss at best, and is overpriced. This is a good store to sell your used items, and then take your proceeds and spend them elsewhere. The staff is most definitely friendlier than another well-known competitor. The store itself is small and not easy to navigate if you have a stroller. The dressing rooms are few (3), but roomy enough for 2 (if you need to have a child try something on). This is a great place to find ballet and tap shoes, as well as outerwear for the winter months. more

This gem of a consignment shop feels like shopping in a boutique. Located in the village of Fairport, this shop is open for a few months per season. They close for about a month between seasons, before which they run a fabulous sale for two weeks where the prices continuously go down. Last fall I picked up a pair of Yves Saint Laurent silver strappy sandals for $1 on the last day! The store owner loves what she is doing. She will help you find things and chat with you easily. The store is small, but well organized, with clothing sorted by size and also by type (pants, tops, dresses, shoes, purses). It is a well-off area so the clothes are name-brand, many never used and with the tags still on. more

Anything Goes is a great second-hand clothing store. While it is definitely not the Salvation Army (and all that that implies), it is a great place to discover gently used women's clothing. They often stock designer labels--as in Escada or Prada--and you can purchase these items at a fraction of the price (still a bit much for me!). The have quite the well-heeled clientele. So if you are looking for a higher-end dress or suit, this is the place. They also have a great selection of shoes and boots, all gently used. The store has a children's department as well as some men's clothes. The owner and her daughter provide quite the lively conversation as you are shopping--this is truly a family business.
