Two weeks after my fianc? proposed, my diamond--which was a family stone--fell out completely; not a broken prong. Thank God I was able to find it. I took the ring in and spoke to the store manager, who was not very apologetic but promised to see to it personally that it was fixed. He promised to call me as soon as it was ready. I didn't hear anything, so I called. No one knew my name or my situation--they actually tried to tell me that they couldn't find my ring. Minutes later, they called back and said it would be ready the next day. It was ready, but when I picked it up, I received no apology whatsoever. They acted as though they were giving my ring back after a routine cleaning. I am extremely disappointed with how they handled the situation. All I can do is hope that the diamond does not fall out again.
