Wonderful meal, no complaints at all, the Chicken Antonino was great and the garlic bread was delicious. Will definitely go again more

Just checked it out - will return! 2/12/2012

NEW OWNER! Highly recomended by several friends. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed the food and excellent service there during two recent visits, a week apart. 2/4/12 Three Adults - Veal (Parmesan , Marsala and Saltimbocca) GREAT! A nice helping of fresh salad and fresh out-of-the-oven rolls w/garlic butter. Three different desserts (Death by Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu, Red Velvet cake) Good service. Both John and JoAnne Cook stopped by our table. 2/11/12 Three Adults in Social Group of over 25 - Held in Upstairs Dining Room w/open bar. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service. Pre-planned main courses were served buffet-style - Chicken Parmesan, Lobster Ravoli, and Baked Spaghetti.. One person did not care for the Lobster Ravoli but I liked it. All you care to eat salad w/plenty of dressing and garlic rolls. We only stopped eating because the desserts were announced.(Plain Cheese Cake as well as choices above) were announced. We added to the pre-arranged 16% tip.NEW OWNER! Highly recomended by several friends. Just wanted to introduce ourselves - we are Joanne and John Cook, new owners of Antonino's. We have been dining here for several years now and jumped at the chance to continue the wonderful experience that Tony Ceritto had provided guests for the past 16 years! more

Not what it used to be 9/17/2011

My family has eaten at this restaurant for a few years and we always had a wonderful meal until tonight. I took one bite of my food and realized that there was a new owner and the quality of the food went downhill. When the server asked us how the food was I gave her an honest answer, it was average. When I asked her about the restaurant having a new owner she confirmed this and said it was with in the last couple of months. While they insist the recipes and the cook staff is the same, I ask you one question if it was how would I have known within one bite there were new owners. I do not know of any true Italian restaurant that would use square shaped mozzarella cheese. The garlic rolls used to be great but now they seem like they are store bought, heated up that day and they forgot to put garlic on them. Here again something that was amazing became average. When the owner came over to ask me about my comments to the server he repeated the same thing, same recipes and some cooks and he became very defensive. Safe you time, money and stomach and do not go. As amazing as the food was in the past is how average the food is now. more

Excellent, Authentic Italian Food 2/28/2010

Great local dining, wallet friendly. Pros: Casual, Family Atmosphere Cons: The service could use some tweaking more

Not everyone's gonna like everything, but I like Antonio's 4/30/2009

I really like it here. My family and I go everytime we visit the Indian Mounds. I've met Antonio and he's really ncie and layed back. This is not a stuffy place, so stuffy people who take themselves too seriously won't like it. The food in my opinion is good, the portions are decent and so is the price. I have a problem with people who take out their bad days on the customers who help pay their bills, but I've never had a problem there. Pros: chill, nice, good bread, inexpensive Cons: young staff more

Avoid this Restaurant 6/18/2008

My husband, myself and our two daughters had the opportunity to visit Antonino's Italian Grill recently during a week night. One of our daughters ordered Grilled Steak Pizziola. The waitress said that they no longer serve beef. I ordered Veal Saltimbocca, and I was informed that they were out of veal. Our daughters then both ordered Shrimp and Scallop Abbriata, my husband ordered Frutto da Mare, and I ordered Fettuccine Carbonara. The salads were ordered with the house dressing. It tasted like someone poured olive oil and vinegar on the lettuce. The rolls, in olive oil and garlic, were over cooked and difficult to eat. When our meals arrived, my husbands' Frutto da Mare smelled terrible! The seafood had a sour smell, he was afraid to eat his meal due to possibly getting ill. The rest of us ate very little. The cream sauce on our meals were extremely dry and unappealing. Also, their dessert menu was pretty scarce, my daughter ordered cheesecake, and, they were out of that too! Pros: Not crowded. Cons: Many items on the menu were unavailable more
