We had our daughter's Bat Mitzvah party at Antonia's. There were a total of 110 people - 60 adults with hors d'oeuvres and a 4 course sit-down dinner, and 50 kids with a buffet. The event was flawless - the food was superb and plentiful, service was attentive and with a smile, drinks were served promptly, and even kids were talking about how good the food was. Antonia and Felipe were a pleasure to work with. Once Antonia found out that we are ""foodies"", she suggested more sophisticated hors d'oeuvre and a gourmet pasta (wild mushroom sauce). Every request was handled willingly - from special tablecloths to setting up a projection system for a slide show to cutting up and serving ceremonial bread and ice cream cake. Antonia created a beautiful space with great food and hospitable service. She and her staff truly cared about our guests and went out of their way to make our event special. We are lucky that we found her restaurant for our celebration. more

The first time (about a year ago) I dined here the food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. However, by the next couple of times I visited things were different. Once I had made reservations early in the day, but to my dismay when we arrived in the evening they couldn't find my name and the hostess made us wait at least 45 min. to be seated because they were busy. Another time, our waiter had a bad attitude and seemed he did not want to be there. We waited a while to get our orders taking, and the food to arrive, considering the place this time was not busy. Furthermore, I attended a baby shower, and the place was a mess because they had several other parties going on at the same time that our food was arriving either cold or portions were cut. The management should not have booked so many parties at the same time if unable to provide good service and FOOD. Finally, the icing on the cake: the new year's eve (2008) party was and will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. I will also avoid attending any future parties at this place. The event was a total disaster, a waste of money and time. My entire family & friends had such a terrible experience with the quality of food, the bad service and poor management.
