My sister had found an add in the local newspaper, for this place. We had taken a drive on sat. & found this wonderfull place. It's well worth the trip over to Anton's. It is a family business, with the son & his wife working the store now, Dad has passed away, at the age of 90. It's only a small place, but they have plenty of items. And best of all, you just can't beat their prices!!!! Very good prices, if your like me, & enjoy dried fruits, it's a must to drive to alsip. I'm telling you the prices are the best I have every seen. They have plenty of nuts, & a nice selection of dried fruits. When you first enter the store, they have a large rack with all kinds of sample containers, so you can try them before you buy them, now you can't beat that, can you??/ How many stores will do this for their customers. Now for x-mas, they have nice nut gift boxes more

If you like nuts & more this is the place to head out to, located in Alsip with early morning hours. They are opened M-F 7:00 - 3:30 and Sat till 1:00/pm. They have from almonds, cashews, pistachios, even peanuts in the shells. They also carry chocolates, dried fruits, yogurt covered items and granola. The prices of their dried fruits are just great, and they have them all from strawberries(which are great) to mango's, and pineapples. They also at this time of year have gift box items. more
