We provide care for normal and high risk pregnancies with delivery at the BirthCare Center in Henry County Hospital.
The spacious private Birthing Suites in the BirthCare Center were designed with comfort in mind. The beautirul earth tones and serene garden motifs promote a calming, soothing environment. Each suite includes amenities such as a flat screen wall-mounted TV, DVD player, internet access and an in-room mini refrigerator. Beautiful cabinetry keeps state-of-the-art technology and medical equipment out of site during your laboring experience, but close at hand for delivery.
Your private bathroom with a seated shower gives an opportunity to shower soon after your baby is born. To allow you to share every minute of this extraordinary life event with a special support person, each Birthing Suite has a comfortable sleeper sofa for your support person to rest.
After delivery and your initial recovery, you and your baby will be transferred to a spacious Family Suite to continue your recovery and learn how to care for your baby. In addition to the same amenities as the Birthing Suite you'll find a rocking chair perfect for snuggling with your new baby, a comfortable bed for mom and a comfortable chair that extends into a twin sized bed for your partner. Your Family Suite also includes a beautiful drop-leaf dining table and chairs so your family may dine with you during your stay.
Your baby may remain in your room as long as you desire throughout your Hospital stay. This lets you get to know him or her and learn to recognize and meet your baby's needs before leaving the Hospital.
