I have had several massages by kerry peters and only by her . She is WONDERFUL! Extrelely knowledgeable in her specialty. She not only makes me feel better physicall but also mentally. Her kindness and good egergey comes through in her massages. She is wonderful. J. Strittmatter more

Went for a facial for my 40th which was not bad, during which Ziba asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. I explained I was doing the facial on a GC, and therefore additional services weren't really in the budget that visit. She said she would comp it since it was my birthday. Very nice except that she virtually waxed off my right brow completely. I realized later that she never offered me a mirror. I spent the next 2 months, over the holidays, growing in my brows so they could be professionally corrected by Melanie at Adolf Biecker. Cost $50 to fix my "free" wax. Melanie at AB really knows her stuff. Go there! more

I got a gift certificate for 2 massages to this spa. I was so excited because massages are a treat for me. I have been to spas before and was very disappointed by this spa. I walked in and the woman who greeted me acted like she was doing me a favor. She pointed me to a room of uncomfortable chairs at tables with unattended children running and screaming. They had a self-service water, tea and coffee station. The woman did not offer to take my coat. A few minutes later a woman called my name and lead me to the basement. She told me to strip and get under the blankets. She came back several minutes later smelling like cigarette smoke and began my massage. I spent an hour smelling her cigarette breath and hands. It was disgusting. Futher, at the end of the appointment they kind of just kicked me out. At other spas, you are invited to wear a robe and relax in a locker room or central area. There was none of this at Antoinette. When I went to pay with my gift certificate, the cashier could not find the gift certificate on her computer and suggested I pay for the service until she figured it out. When I refused, she actually put effort into finding it. She then continued to tell me that I owed more money because their prices went up. The gift certificate was purchased one week earlier on their website which still reflected the lower price (and still does several months later). This place is loud, a hassel, and not worth your money. Pros: close to house Cons: loud, busy, poor customer service more

Suprisingly it was relaxing. I throught it wouldnt feel all that great having a hot stones on your back, but it felt good more

I searched high and low for a hair stylist that would give me a "wow" haircut and I finally found Matt. Everytime I get my hair done (color and cut) it looks amazing! I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

I was given the most delightful gift of a facial, body massage, manicure and pedicure. Each treatment was delightful and the service providers were so pleasant and wonderfully gifted in their craft. I came back to work from a long weekend and feel like I had been away on an extended vacation due to the marvelous attention. My thanks to each of my three service providers. I will return! more

I was given a gift certificate for this spa (50th birthday)!! I will admit that it took me awhile to use it but I will be going back as many times as I can fit into my schedule. I was the beneficiary of the custom facial with Gail and I looked like I was 10 years younger days later. You will not be disappointed with the service, atmosphere or the care. The heated beds add to the relaxed treatment.You can truly forget all other cares you may have. Who doesn't need to escape every once in awhile and I cannot think of a better way to spend an hour caring for yourself. Take your girlfriends...I am! more

I love this spa! I had the best massage ever there. Also they have a sunless tanner application that was amazing! I agree with the other post to stay away from Ziba. I had the same experience after getting a Brazilian wax and left sticky and needing to clean up when I got home. She was rough and rude and she criticized the work that I was doing saying it was a good place to start...I was teaching preschool while attending college full time...I was completely offended and have not been back since. Pros: Sunless tanner application is amazing! Nice atmosphere Cons: Worst Wax job I have ever gotten--not worth the money more

I have been living in Philadelphia for over 5 years now and I haven't found a manicure in the city (Rescue...AWFUL!) that beats the trip to Paoli! Cheree (sp?) gives a flawless mani/pedi everytime I see her. The atmosphere is cozy victorian and everyone is super nice and friendly. Pros: parking Cons: driving there more

I am a spa-lover, and until I found Antionette, I havent found once place to get it all done- but here I get my haircuts, massages and facials.... I love it... my one problem was the disappointment in the pedicures-- it just didnt wow me... but I am a returning customer over and over again! more

I agree with the other poster. Stay AWAY from Ziba. She is an older woman who is very regimented and not friendly. I went in for a brazilian wax... there was nothing brazilian about it. there was hair left everywhere, she was rough, got wax ALL over me and my clothing. When I asked for baby oil to remove the remainder of the wax she said she doesn't do that as it clogs the pores (like wax doesn't?!!) So I had to go around all sticky until I got home to clean myself up. NEVER EVER again. Pros: beautiful place. Cons: ZIBA more

Since this spa is convenient to my home, I have tried it on several occasions for manicures, facials and waxing, but have consistently been disappointed by the lack of customer service. The quality and training of the personnel varies, but in particular you'll want to avoid ""Ziba"" who performs facials, waxing -- she.is very high strung, tense and terse.... not a relaxing or enjoyable spa experience. The spa is located in an aging Victorian building and generally serves an older clientelle, the ""aging main line matron."" With so many other spas in the area to choose from, I would not recommend this spa. Pros: convenient paoli location Cons: poor service attitude more
