Antoinette's is absolutely the best in town for antique jewelry, especially engagement/wedding rings. My fianc? and I spent hours with Antoinette and found the perfect ring for me...

Exquisite Jewelry, Lovely and Knowledgeable Owner 10/11/2008

My fiancee and I visited Antoinette's while vacationing in Portland over the summer. Antoinette is an amazingly sweet woman, with a wonderful eye for antique jewelry. I've visited other places with large collections, but will typically only find one or two "ooh" inspiring pieces. At Antoinette's it seemed like one long, continuous "ooh" the entire time. She's sweet, patient, and I could tell she truly wanted us to be informed and completely satisfied with our rings. We must've spent three hours there, and Antoinette was friendly, supportive and understanding the entire time. In the end, we both found amazing diamond deco wedding rings and we're thrilled with them. I will absolutely visit Antoinette's every time I'm in Portland. You should, too. Would go back in a heart beat 9/26/2008

When we got married a few months ago, my husband and I didn't exchange rings. We had looked into a few stores but we couldn't find anything we liked. We walked into Antoinette's store by accident and were amazed to find many rings that both of us liked. When we were looking at the rings Antoinette was always really patient, helpful and willing to share her knowledge with us. The ring we picked had a small imperfection (by not faults of Antoinette) but she went out of her way to make sure that the ring was perfect. Pros: Patient, great selection and prices, Antoinette and her amazing knowledge of gems! Cons: Absolutely none more

Best Selection of Antique Jewelry in the NW 9/23/2008

My fiance went to Antoinette's before proposing and found the perfect ring. Then he took me back to see it...it was the first ring I tried on and I absoluetly love it. We went to look at a few other places and none of them had the quality or selection that Antoinette had. Most of all our experience was highlighted by Antoinette's passion for and knowledge about her jewelry. She worked at our pace, always making us feel comfortable and always getting things done as quickly as she could. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about our experience shopping and purchasing and engagement ring from her. We felt secure, we trusted her-which when you're spending a lot of money is important! We will return for my fiances wedding band and any other major jewelry purchases we make in the future. "Sweet" Vintage Ring for Christmas 9/14/2008

I was looking for something extra special for my wife at Christmas. Well, after talking with Antoinette a few different times, I decided to surprise my wife with a 1920's Vintage ring for Christmas. And couldn't have been happier with the quality of the ring and price not to mention the priceless smile I received from my wife... Mind you this purchase was over the phone, my wife and I live in Arizona, so I had my cousin (who lives in Portland) meet with Antoinette and they sent me pictures via the internet, I like what I saw and purchased it on the spot. Antoinette and I have already discussed a redesign of my wifes wedding ring. more

Extremely helpful in our search for a replacement for my wife's wedding ring she had lost during a flight a few weeks ago. Antoinette had been referred to us by a family member who had nothing but great things to say, and we must agree. After a very thorough search for vintage and antique rings in and around Portland, Antoinette's has the best selection in all price ranges. I found this quite shop to be the most pleasing experience since I began looking for an engagement ring, and I'm sure you will agree that Antoinette knows more about her jewels than any jeweler in the area. A MUST for anyone in the market for a beautiful ring for a very reasonable price. Pros: Great selection in all price ranges/ wonderful service and quality. Wonderful Estate jewelry expert 5/22/2008

Antionette Sweet has a lovely low key sales approach, yet she passes on her knowledge and enthusiasm about estate jewelry. She has a fine collection of old jewelry, that represents a very trained eye. My husband and I just purchased a 20 year Anniversary diamond ring from her and it was a wonderful experience. She helped us understand the importance of both cuts and metals. We knew we wanted a vintage ring , so I had done my homework, but wanted to ulitmately purchase it from her. The setting of her business is tucked inside of Le Meitour gallery in Multnomah Village, where one is surrounded an impressive collection of art. The atmosphere is inspiring and memorable. I happened upon Antoinette's gallery while shopping in Multnomah Village inside Le Meitour Gallery. Antoinette has a simply amazing collection of breathtakingly beautiful rare estate diamond rings. I was extremely fortunate to find a beautiful ornate gold charm bracelet. Plus, her prices are very reasonable. Since she is a gemologist she was able to answer every question I asked about stones and settings. I am so happy with my purchase. I've told all my friends about her! Pros: Everything is perfect. Antoinette is very knowledgeable about diamonds, old stones and settings. She takes the time to explain the history of the old pieces. Her selection is awesome and her prices are the best that I have found! Antoinette is a Graduate Gemologist and willingly shared her expertise with me.
