The Scene Both flea market veterans and unseasoned newcomers are impressed by the selection of quality furniture and accent pieces at this Pasadena antiques collective. The upscale vendors assemble entire rooms - like an immaculately decorated living room scene with table settings, vases and chandlers - as shopper-friendly displays to help customers visualize items working together in a living space. The Goods This is truly an antique-lover's paradise, Dealers are understandably passionate about their collection types or periods, and are eager to answer question's you may have. There is everything from Spanish revival to the best in art deco. An amazing collection of British and French furnishing along with some of the best vintage lighting in the Los Angeles area. They also have a vast array of impressionistic paintings and hand painted pottery that's sure to catch your eye.You will not find a shop that covers so many areas. Period French antiques mixed with an amazing array of late 19th and early 20th century rugs from around the globe. Although jewelry and small decorations are available, these vendors do not clutter their tables with trinkets. Instead they focus on larger, quality antiques with staple pieces like natural wood tables, armors, bombe chest, fine paintings, and just about anything for a classy home expansion. The best store on the west coast far none!!! more

True Antiques Beautiful Store 2/24/2010

This store is fantastic. Everywhere you look there is another little treasure. I have been coming to this store for many years and I am always surprised by how different it is every time. There is always new stuff to check out. Also the store is full service. They wax and repair all there pieces before they go out and if you need anything done they take care of it right away. When you first walk in there is a great sense of welcome and comfort. The staff is very accomidating, happy to anwer any questions and even offered me a complimentary refreshment. They simply said, ""if we can help, we are here."" and let me peacefully shop in a place that felt like an endless treasue box. When ever I needed anything, it was done immediately. They offered to document measurments of pieces I was interested in and even offered photographs, that were taken and printed for me to keep. I ended up buying many items, some of which needed to be waxed and/or altered. They were happy to fix any repair in house, which I found infinately convienient. As a designer incompitence is not an option. It is refresing to find a real collective filled with great stuff and who'll cater to you and your clients needs in a timely fashion. Great Collective! Pros: Amazing Antiques, Incredible Furniture, Unique Treasures, Great Staff Cons: Very Large Building I suggest you ask the staff to make you a coffee and get to work more

i just bought a home and went to fill it up. so i thought i go to an antique mall for some old goodies. i went here i was a little disappointed. it really lacked individuality. it seemed like the same person was just putting their stuff all over the store. the place was pretty clean though. and a good place to end up after hitting all the other antique stores on fair oaks. more
