Antipisti Restaurant

This is a rare restaurant for the beach. The prices are not overly high, the food is always excellent, the service outstanding, and the personal attention from Fausto, the servers, and the rest of the staff is warm. And, one more thing.....they take reservations. We had a variety of things at our table and all were very good. I had the Italian wedding soup and timbali. The wedding soup is loaded with small, veal meat balls and the timbali is a lasagna kind of pasta dish with the pasta layers very, very thin. It is a specialty of the house and well worth trying. Many of the pasta items can be ordered as an appetizer portion or as an entree. This is a restaurant well worth visiting again and again. The menu is, of course, on line so you can look it over in advance. They will have many specials of the day that will go well beyond the menu. more

I'm the person that complimented you on the garlic steak and have come back for it year after year. And why not, It's the highlight of my visit to Ocean City. I didn't know you were on the Food Network. Congradulations, couldn't have happened to a better chef. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. more

I read some of the reviews for Antipasti on this site and was hesitant to go but decided to give it a try after it was suggested as a must try by a bartender the night before. What a great surprise! From the moment my girlfriends and I stepped in to the place we knew we were in for a treat. The host greeted us with a genuine warm welcome, after we were seated and the server took our drink order the host came over again to tell us the specials for the night. After dinner we went to the bar for an after dinner drink, Rod the bartender was great. The food was excellent, the service could not have been more attentive and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a great time and cannot wait for our next girls get a way to come back to OC and Antipasti. more

Please let me refresh your memory. My husband and I were at Ristorante Antipasti this past Friday and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We received excellent service and the food a Culinary delight. (Also thanks for the trip down memory lane about your roots in Pennsylvania). We can see why you were chosen as one of the ""best of"" on the Food Network. My apologies for not being able to thank you personally before we left for your gracious service, great food and great conversation. This is not your spaghetti and meatballs Italian restaurant. Fausto and his staff serve authentic Italain cuisine as you would get while traveling in Italy. They also serve an incredible garlic steak for two or more. It is a huge porterhouse, sliced at your table. Always ask Fausto what he recommends. The specials are always interesting and different, whether it be a pasta, seafood or meat dish. I live in Washington< DC. and can honestly say that Antipasti surpasses any Italian restaurant in the whole Baltimore/Washington corridor. If you have not tried, I suggest you do!!!!
