Great experience and gorgeous tree. Ordered thru groupon with delivery. Picked delivery date and tree was delivered in time window that was given to me. When tree came to house the tree was absolutely gorgeous and way nicer than the trees that I have seen elsewhere. The deliverymen were very nice, and brought the tree in our house and placed it in our tree stand. The whole experience went smoothly from start to finish. This was Very Easy for me since I didnt have to carry it home, pull it up my stairs and set it up. I would Highly recommend Anthony Gallo nurseries and their xmas trees. We, too, ordered through a groupon that included a 7' tree, wreath, stand and lights. My first impression of Anthony Gallo is that they cannot handle high volume sales or deliveries. The woman handling the scheduling was very disorganized. She had to reschedule twice, then asked us to take delivery the day before we were scheduled, but the drivers showed up four hours late. This wasn't horrible since we were home anyway, but when I called her to check in, she seemed irritated and stressed, even though she was the one who suggested I call for a status if the drivers were more than an hour late. Anyway, when the delivery came, it was fine - they just dropped the tree off and left. Later, as we set up the tree and untied it, it didn't look very full and certainly wasn't worth the price we paid for it. I had originally been hesitant about ordering a package that gave them control over which tree we would get, but I figured that they were trying to increase business so they'd try their best to pick out a good tree for their customers. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The tree is just okay. It's 7' feet tall, as promised, but it's a skinny looking tree. Anyway, it's not horrible, but I don't think this tree is worth the advertised price. If you're going to their lot to pick out a tree yourself, it's probably not bad; but I wouldn't recommend relying on them to do this, nor would I buy any other groupons, or similar deals from them. They just can't manage the volume that results from those types of deals. more

I would give 0 starts if it were an option. What a scam! I saw the groupon with delivery and hat a great deal. Just to make sure there would be no issues, I called them and they confirmed they would deliver a 7-8 foot Frasier Fir tree to my address! SO I went ahead and purchased the groupon I called a couple days later to schedule delivery. I was told they were still working on the schedule and would call me. I called a week later and a guy told me it would be delivered on Friday. I rearranged my house and told my two year old she would come home from school and her Xmas tree would be there to decorate. NO TREE! NO CALL? Nothing! I call them and am told to call another day. I call again and am told ""Not to listen to any of the guys. They just cut trees!"" and she would be doing the scheduling on Sunday and would call me. ON TUESDAY! 3 weeks I have been waiting for my tree! I get a voicemail that I live to far and they will be unable to deliver my tree. I LIVE IN MANHATTAN!!!! Now they are not answering their phone or emails! WHAT A SCAM!! Thank you Anthony Gallo for your Christmas spirit, my two year old loves crying and begging to decorate her tree!!! I will now have the joy of renting a car, paying full price for a tree, strapping it to the roof and carrying it home myself with my two year old! IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE REQUESTS OF A GROUPON, DON'T OFFER THEM!!!!!! more

The work you did on my home was wonderful. The job was kept very clean and the slider and patio look fantastic, the landscaping was perfect. I would highly recommend your company to any one. Mr. Gallo was very professional, personable, and attentive to all of our landscape needs. His plants, shrubs, trees, and sod are of high quality and very healthy.
