If there was a negative star, Anthem would be receiving it. I've wasted countless hours on the phone with them. I have been given the run around, been lied to, received a rude email, and just generally had a horrible time with them. After ironing out issues, they would bring them up months later and I'd have to spend hours on the phone again. I'd fax in the same information over and over, be told that it was received, and then told that I'd never sent it. This is the worst insurance experience I've ever had! I talked to one nice, competent person over the course of more than a year of calling to get things straightened out. Even my healthcare provider told me that they had a rough time with Anthem. If I ever have a choice in my insurance, I will pick anything BUT Anthem.
