This eastern European deli is a member of the Russian/Ukranian Chamber of commerce..and it shows. The finest of coffees, teas, chocolates, borscht, apricot paste, sausages, and other delicacies can be found here. I stop here regularly for the sandwhich of the day (to go - there's only 1 table) and a look-see at the Russian language newspapers at the door.
Several languages are spoken here...Ukranian, Muldovian, Russian, and probably a few others I haven't picked up on yet. One thing that makes this stand out from the other Slavic grocers is that they welcome westerners and enjoy telling you about how prepare the food you purchase.
A real gem of a store!
