A visit to Siesta Key, FL just isn't complete without breakfast at The Broken Egg. They offer everything from the standard bacon and eggs-to portabella eggs benedict, my personal favorite. The hash browns are to die for, as are the pecan pancakes. Actually, you can't get a bad meal here. Open for breakfast and lunch-you can also enjoy the small gift shop featuring local art. Yummy! more

Fun place to eat 8/19/2005

The Broken egg is a long established meeting place on Siesta Key. Serving Breakfast and lunch with an interesting menu. Huge pancakes with choice of fruit and nuts along with cheesy hash-browns. If you are there on some days you'll see Dick Vitale having breakfast and he'll autograph a book or poster that can be purchased at the restaurant. more

Yummy 7/10/2005

This place has great breakfast and lunch food. The prices are average for the Siesta Key Village area. They are only open till 2 pm. You can eat inside or outside. The staff is very friendly. The place is small and they are always busy. I would highly recommend eating here. more
