After waiting 15 minutest in line, with 4 other customers while 5 people were behind the counter not helping any customers, I finally tried to return a pair of pants that had 2 ripped seams. They refused to take my return even though the merchandise was obviously defective. The store manager came out (one of the original 5 behind the counter) and told me there was nothing she could do, even though all I wanted was the same pair of pants, not defective with ripped seams. She was incredibly rude and not helpful. Obviously, her store is doing well enough they do not need to sell high quality clothes or offer and bit of pleasant customer service. I hope this is not how all Ann Taylor stores run, because this behavior does not promote repeat customers.
