fair prices 9/30/2010

I have been using Dr. Gill for over 10 years and have never had a problem. The staff has never been rude or offensive. The large black poodle that someone said was offensive has died now, but none of the animals are anything but friendly. There is only a large cat that roams around now but he is nothing but friendly. The prices are cheaper than other vets I have checked. I compared flea medicine and Dr. Gill was at least $20.00 cheaper than the other. I love the friendly staff and how they get to know your animals and you by name. I am moving at least 30 minutes away but will problably keep using Dr. Gill because of his treatment towards my animals and his fair prices. more

Great place for your sick pets! 4/19/2008

We have several dogs one of which was a 15 year old spitz who had to be put down. He was in the hospital several times and everyone was always wonderful. Dr Gill and Dr Mitchell were so good with him and our other dogs.\r \r We now have two dogs left, one on pain meds and we have no hesitation in leaving them in care of the Animal Hospital of Clinton.\r We trust them completely!\r \r The black poodle didn't bother us, rather added to the "atmosphere", more

Personnel experience 3/20/2008

The staff is rude. I went in to buy some cat food and was treated very rudely. The vet services may be fine but the personal touch of the staff stinks. more

Offensive Large Black Poodle Roams Freely 4/14/2006

Don't like the large black poodle dog that roams about freely at all. Inappropriate public behavior (keeping it decent.) Dogs being dogs, lock this one up before someone kicks it really hard because it offended them. PROS: Fair prices (for my income), good location, convenient parking. CONS: Noticed a couple of times that my cats smelled very bad when picked up. more

Great Vet 10/4/2005

We used to live in Clinton and used Dr. Gill's services for 10 years. He is compationate, competent and very resonably priced. We have had several emergency situations and he was always there regardless of time of day or day of week. We now live 40 miles away and still use his services. I read another review which stated he was expensive, I wonder what they were smoking. PROS: Caring, CONS: more

Good Veterinarian, Poor practice manager 7/6/2005

Dr. Gill is a good general practitioner Veterinarian. He is kind, and compassionate, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Animal Hospital of Clinton for basic health care and preventive medicine. The practice manager is not efficient, and the receptionists are often rude. The prices are a bit steep, and rarely can you get an appointment on an urgent, same day basis. Once, I called ahead for an emergency, carried my dog in giving her mouth to mouth and was told by the receptionist to "Have a seat, we will be with you in a bit". PROS: Good basic medicine CONS: High prices, difficult to get same day or emergency appointment more
