Amazing. Care more about your pet than the money. 8/7/2012

This hospital is truly amazing. Our cat was having kidney failure, possibly due to the moron we took her to the day before. As we decided to put Diddle down, the blood work came back and Dr. Nunn let us know the results, that it was indeed kidney failure, there was nothing more we could do, and that we made the right decision. She decided not to charge us for the blood work since we made the decision before the results got back, which I find to be the most amazing part because she was more concerned with our piece of mind over the money should could have charged. They let us have as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. The vet was so sweet and truly concerned about us an our cat. Later in the week they sent us a condolence card and now, about 4 weeks later I just got a plaster imprint of my cat's paw with a very sweet card. I've never known a vet to be so sweet and thoughtful. They are not in it for the money and did everything they could to help. I'm not sure I'll find another more

Not a happy camper 12/13/2010

We have been going here for a few years. I keep mentioning to my husband we should switch vets and now I finally get my way. They tend to give us the wrong medications and we have to call them to notify the wrong animal with the wrong dose amount. I'm sorry but I didn't go to school to be a vet you should know. Secondly, if you ask for something to be done...it usually isn't done and you pay for something you didn't ask for. How hard it is to just listen to what the customer is looking for. I would not recommend them for older dogs. They usually want to charge you a big price to "So-call" save them but in terms it doesn't work. I know of other dog owners who went some where else with a "so-call" dying dog and is still currently living years later. I don't want a vet to practice on my animal anymore. more

Wonderful place 11/8/2010

Wonderful place!The staff is extremely considerate and the doctors are considerate and very knowledgeable. Every time I take my Dog in, they always let me put him directly in a room so he doesn't have to interact with other dogs. Anytime I call with questions, they are so willing to get the answers for me. I can see that the coctors really care for the pets and will go over things in a simplistic fashion. My adopted dog is in heartworm treatment and they have explained completely what was to take place. They even drew up a treatment plan with costs to make everything more manageable. more

Disorganized and over priced 8/25/2010

I was volunteering with a rescue group and was asked to bring in a foster animal who needed care. The rescue org. set up the appointment and sent in the information. When I called and arrived, everyone had different information, we were there for over an hour and the bill was VERY pricey (For a consult, tests and antibiotics it was over $200). Ive taken my personal dogs to my vet (3 of them for vacinations and it hasnt been that high). I would not take my personal animals to this facility. more

Best Vet 8/14/2010

I am very skeptical of vets now a days since one in marietta let my dog go blind. but now i have a pekingese puppy who had serious breathing issues. i took him to just about every vet i knew and they all said it was normal, but i knew it wasnt. he got sick one saturday so i searched for an animal hospital that was open and found this one. ive taken all my pets there ever since, my puppy got surgery on his nose and he can breathe now. I have never been so happy with a vet to take my pets to. more

There are much better choices 7/1/2010

Not a well run facility. Poor record keeping and lack of continuity in care. They may seem nice and personable but I prefer top quality health care for my dog. I would not recommend them. more

Compassionate, caring employees! 3/24/2010

Recently we had to put one of our dogs down. The Doctors and employees are Animal Hospital were compassionate and made a hard time much easier. They gave us a paw print in cement to remember her. \r \r The employees of Animal Hospital of Towne Lake really care about your pets and take good care of the animals they see. I would highly recommend them! more

Someone who truly cares 8/31/2009

We had to make the difficult decision to euthanize one of our dogs. The staff was incredibly sympathetic and comforting to both ourselves and our dog. \r \r We will definitely be using this Vet (Dr. King) from here on out for all of our animals. I can't recommend them high enough. \r \r Finally......a Vet's office that truly cares about the animals rather than the money. more

I *love* this place! 2/23/2009

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all of various ages, sizes and with different needs. Every time I come in I have a wonderful experience. My dogs are not shy or nervous to go and we are always greeted and treated warmly. Recently, I've had a health scare with my senior chihuahua, and Dr. King treated her without charging me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary treatments. Now she springs around the house like a puppy again! \r \r They really care about animals and respect owner's wishes. They can be a little pricier than other vets, but the experience and knowledge of the staff and the customer service is well worth it.\r \r One of my cats is a "difficult" kitty and has to be mildly sedated to go to the vet. He usually freaks out, but at the Cat Clinic, he is calm and allows the techs and the vet to handle and examine him without a problem. They even recommended lowering his dosage next time. They have made a lasting impression on me, and even though I drive half an hour to get there, its well wort more

Great Clinic 12/16/2008

I went here on days when their sister hospital, The Cat Clinic of Woodstock was closed. All three of my cats, and one with restrictive cardiomyopathy, were treated primarily by Dr. Kristen Parker, who is a very knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian. Through the worst of times, following an episode of congestive heart failure, I believe the regular care my cat got here is what ultimately saved her life. The vet techs here are also very good, and one in particular named Jo was superb. I no longer go to this clinic because I moved 35 miles away, but for anyone in Woodstock, I highly recommend this clinic. more

Highly recommended! 3/10/2008

My husband and I use to live in the Acworth area and we would take our dog, Gail, to Animal Hospital of Towne Lake for ALL kinds of services ranging from annual check-ups, emergencies, grooming, and boarding. This place is great and everyone I have encountered there is very friendly and professional. We have since moved nearly an hour away and believe it or not we still drive to Woodstock for their services because we loved them so much and they love our dog as well. Good service and genuine care is so hard to find nowadays. more

Great vet! 12/11/2007

I bring my toy poodle here and we are both treated well! The receptionists are very nice. I believe her name was Katie, and she answered all of my questions regarding boarding her for the holidays. I like that I can get weekend appointments. Stephany groomed Chloe on Saturday and she looked great and was very friendly. I will bring her there for Christmas break and I'm sure they will take good care of her! more

Great place! 10/21/2007

I take my two shih tzus and cat here. The doctors are great and knowledgeable. They also have excellent boarding and grooming facilities and will give a tour anytime, very clean! Not to mention, Ceasar Milan taped an episode here! Great all around! Pros: Vet care, grooming, nic kennels, open 7 days Cons: Construction limits parking more

I have only been going here for a few months, my dog had puppies in March and I just moved to the area. Everyone is so nice here. The doctors and techs are all friendly and knowledgeable. They've always treated my dogs very kindly! more

Incredibly well-serviced animal hospital! 11/24/2005

Upon recommendation, I took my pup to see the vets at Animal Hospital of Towne Lake for an injury she sustained in her leg. Well, the front desk staff was super friendly and we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes before seeing the vet. Once inside the room, the vet and techs all gave terrific service. Since then, we've been back for regular visits and the level of service has remained just as high as the first time. PROS: Incredibly friendly staff and short wait times CONS: Nowhere to sit in the waiting area more

Animal Hospital of Towne Lake provides top notch care with friendly service 10/17/2005

The Animal Hospital of Towne Lake has the most caring and professional staff that I have ever experienced with a vet. I feel like I am leaving my pup with family each time that he is there. I also love the fact that they provide a mix of doctors that have expertise in dogs and cats. They genuinely care about each pet. They are also less expensive than many of the other vets that I called when deciding on one for my new pup. I simply cannot say enough about this clinic and the people that work there. more

Great staff. Although the doctors are young, they seem to have a great joy working with the animals. While their front office staff could use some help in the billing dept, they make up with that in the attitudes and kind deminar! more
