My dog was very sick and ended up needing surgery for bloat..I cant believe that my previous vet never told me I could have done something when my dog was spayed to prevent this p...

My dog was very sick and ended up needing surgery for bloat..I cant believe that my previous vet never told me I could have done something when my dog was spayed to prevent this problem. Long story short, if it wasnt for this hospital and staff staying late for me to come in, my dog wouldnt be here today. Thank You so much to everyone at Countryside Animal Hospital in Port Jefferson. more

Countryside Animal Hospital 10/26/2010

Dr Kearns is no longer at the Animal Emergency. I was very lucky to find him at a place in Port Jefferson, NY called Countryside Animal Hospital. This place is terrific! Friendly, Professional, and Fair! Never met a nicer staff. Wish my human Drs Office would take a lesson from them. If you are looking for the perfect animal hospital for your pet, take a look at Countryside. I highly reccommend them! more

Thumbs up- great care 9/29/2010

Great place when you have a pet emergency. Caring staff, quick response, thorough, and great docs on hand. \r I have 2 dogs, both have been here for emergency care, once on Christmas Eve. In the past we saw Dr. Steve Templeton there, but I believe he has moved on and opened his own office now. \r Perfect place to go in case of emergency. more

Very Nice Vet, Great Emergency Services 5/27/2005

If you have an animal emergency, this is the place to go. I have been to this vet twice with emergencies. Once was at 6am and the other was at 3am-- both times when no other vet was open. The people are very nice and efficient. They really care about your animals and treat them like they are a part of your family. Unfortunately, they are pricey-- but money doesn't matter when it comes to an emergency with your pets. PROS: great staff and doctors, good location, open 24 hours CONS: a bit on the pricey side more
