Animal Clinic Of Spokane Inc PS

I was referred here and made an appt. w/ Dr. Pfarr, yet saw a different Vet (whom I assumed was Dr. Pfarr). She informed me my pet only had 4 or 5 teeth left and desperately needed them cleaned. Horrible scare tactics to spend money there on sprays, blood panels, IVs, frontline $$$. THEN was informed by the dental tech that she removed 7 teeth!! How do you remove 7 teeth when you are told there are only 4 or 5 in her mouth?? When I called to discuss my concerns, the receptionist hung up on me. I would NOT RECOMMEND this facility! SHADY! more

Dr. Mike is the most caring Vet in Spokane...My Lab just loved going to see Mike ...All I had to say was "Do you want to go see Dr. Mike?"....and Chip would beat me to the car for the ride into town to see his buddy....I would never go to anyone else.... more

I adore Dr. Mike. He makes me feel that he really cares about my dogs and their well being. Whenever, I go in for checkups with my labs, he is listening and takes time to talk about them. He does not waste money on tests if not necessary.A few years ago we had a tragic accident concerning one of my labs. He was very caring and explained to great lengths, there was nothing we could have done to save him, He is a blessing. more

We have 4 Akitas and Dr. Mike has been their doctor from the beginning. Our alpha female has been through 4 litters without incident due to Dr. Mike's expertise and advice. His hands on and caring make all four soooo comfortable, they are always excited when they notice what building we are parking in front of before a check up or medicl visit. Dr. Mike actually gets down on the floor to greet them; even our shy girl just goes crazy when she sees him, even though she's only been to him a few times. I truly believe the dogs know who really cares and I trust their judgement and continue to travel the distance required so my babies are happy to get their check-ups and care. Thanks so Much, Dr. Mike for being the BEST and for having such reasonable prices. You are the angel my babies need! more

This is a great vets' office. All of the vets there seem to really love animals and love their jobs. One of my cats was traumatized (by another vet ironically) when she was a kitten and is quite a handful. The vets at Animal Clinic were patient and gentle with her and had great success with her in giving exams. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. PROS: Vets really care and it shows! CONS: too far away from where I live now more
