They saved my Layla's life! 12/7/2010

I highly reccomend Animal Clinic of North Clarksville. Someone ran my precious yorkie over a few weeks ago. My Layla was in so much pain! Unfortunatly I didn't have the money to pay an up front payment. They were kind enough to make payment arrangements. They kept Layla for ttwo nights and called frequently to inform me with updates and her progress. I am so thankful that my dog is doing well and that she's back to normal!! I'm also thankful to Dr. Smith and the front receptionist for their great customer service and generousity! more

Very Poor Business 9/22/2010

This is not a good Veterinary clinic to go to. We have been going there for over a year with three of our dogs so they received a lot of money from me. Our youngest dog (13 months) who has been going there ever since we got him when he was 8 weeks old hurt himself on this past Sunday. Monday, we called this Vet and explained to them that Noah was in alot of pain and his foot was swollen very badly. I also explained to them that I would have to wait until I got paid this Friday to pay but he really needed to be seen and I was 2 dollars short of what the office visit charge was. I was even willing to leave my bank card number so they could run it first thing Friday morning. The office manager said that they would not see him unless we paid that day and we could have a friend call in with a credit card if we wanted. I found this very mean and inconsiderate especially seeing as Noah has been going there for over a year. It isn't like we were brand new customers that they didn't kno more

awesome experience !!!! they where so nice , explained everything and made sure i understood everything .They didnt charge me anything that was unnecesary and where there the entire time even on the phone. more

GREAT! 4/13/2010

I have no issues with the vet! They have done so well with my dogs and I recommend them to anyone! My dogs have had surgery, shots, heartworm treatment and all sorts of things there and not one issue! I think they are a wonderful office! more

AWFUL 9/23/2009

My puppy was throwing up and had diareha so I instantly took him in to this place and suggested that they should test for parvo. I was very worried about parvo because my puppy only had his first set of shots. Well, the vet there said that "it doesn't look like parvo" and said she would give him his second set of vaccinations. This included the parvo vaccine. Well, the next day my puppy was looking worse so I rushed him back in. I was hysterical when they informed me he has parvo. I was so UPSET. I had taken him in prior, and assumed they tested him then! The vet then sent us off with some antibiotics and told us to adminster pedilyte every hour. I spent all day and night nursing my very sick puppy. It broke my heart to see him this way. He was looking terrible and I called other vets to get a second opinion. Luckily, I called Dr.Crowe at Eastview Clinic and he told me to rush my pup in. Immidately he stuck an IV on him and told me that if I had waited any longer our poor more

What a wonderful place to take your pets. I have been going there for 10 years and tell all of my friends to go there. Dr Walker is great and very caring. I had a ill dog with cancer and she gave me her home number to contact her if a emergency occurs. more

Kind, thorough care for your pets! 3/13/2009

I have used this clinic for both of my cats and now have a puppy that I will take in as well. My one cat had an abscess on his leg and they took care of it efficiently and thoroughly. I also like how they call the next day after a surgery to check how the animal is doing. Very kind and concerned staff. I won't go anywhere else! more

Highly Recommended 11/5/2008

We adopted a cat at 7 weeks old. We brought her to this clinic on a recommendation and I couldn't be happier. They take very good care of her where even getting her immunizations didn't even summon a "meow" out of her. They are very gently, informative and caring. The staff goes over & beyond to make you and your pet welcome and comfortable. more

do know what there doing 9/8/2008

i have 4 cats, I have no been able to get the rite meds for my all my cats they seem to guess at what is wrong . my two cats had diarrhea and vomiting they gave me meds for the two and said it was allegros . now all my cats are sick with Coxidia and i did three stool sample it should have bin in that. i gist think that they do not even care!!!! and wonted me to keep having to buy meds for them all the time. i have never use a vet this careless before. more

The Best Animal Clinic EVER!!! 8/12/2008

I found the front staff to be EXTREMELY helpful. When I called they gave me the BEST customer service ever! When I walked in I was greeted right away & they were just so friendly. The animal nurses took great care of Fluffy. They treated him like he was one of theirs & the doctor was so nice & informative. This was the best experience. I recommend them to everyone I know! more

Great service, up front pricing, walk in hours 3/24/2008

I have three dogs that I bring in regularly, and I have never been disappointed. Our first dog, a Saint Bernard, was extremely sick and we brought her in during the weekend. She was kept in the clinic for two days, and when we picked her up she was like a brand new dog. I expected to foot a several thousand dollar bill, but it was only about $200 for two nights, IV medications, and antibiotics. The vet came in on her day off to take care of my dog! Our second and third dogs were underweight, sick shelter dogs, and again this clinic took perfect care of them. I continue to use this clinic as I trust the vets and I find their walk in hours very convenient. The staff can give you an estimate of the cost of care BEFORE you decide to go forth with treatment, thus eliminating the "sticker shock" aspect of pet care. I highly recommend this clinic for vet care. more

Steer clear! 11/27/2007

I, too, have had horrible experiences with this clinic. Some years ago, I had a dog pass away while in their care overnight and was devastated! She had had surgery after having been diagnosed with cancer some time before this. They wanted to keep her overnight and administered her an IV drip for dehydration. The day I went to get her, they again wanted to keep her overnight for observation. With her condition to the stage it was, I would have preferred that they be honest with me and advise me to just take her home where she could pass away at home in my arms; instead, she passed away alone in one of their kennels. I have never gotten over this! I even had to drive her body all the way to Cadiz, KY from Clarksville (on a warm day) for cremation as they did not provide this service at that time (don't know if they do now). Needless to say, I found it necessary to go look for another vehicle shortly thereafter, as I could not bear to drive that car any longer due to the horrendous memory more

Very pleased 8/1/2007

I have been taking both of my dogs to the Animal Clinic of North Clarksville for years. The staff was very helpful when I went in to the office in tears with my sick dog and the two of us walked out of the office later that day feeling much better! When I took my other dog to get fixed, she came home that night a bit groggy, but she was in perfect health. I trust these vets completely. more

My Dog Died 1/23/2007

I went to this Clinic because the one I usually take my dog to did not have an emergency #. NEVER AGAIN.\r My 12 year old dog was really weak and the vet we saw that night said she had ruptured her spleen(hemangiosarcoma rupture) . I asked the vet over and over again if my dog would be ok till the morning and she said Yes, probably. This was at 9:30pm at 12:38am my dog passed away.I will never take my animals there again. If you want your pet to die, take it there. more

Will never trust 11/13/2005

I took my white half-persian cat there to be declawed. When I picked her up I did not even recognize her. She had blood all over her and her paws looked terrible. Another time I had my other cat fixed there and she became sick with a high fever after her surgery. I would not recommend this vet office to anyone. more

Not the best 11/8/2005

We went to this vet when my cat was sick we ended up spending about 2,000 on our cat and the vet never found out what was wrong with him. The end result was they told us to put him down. After all that money and 2 years later and that was the answer. I was livied and then they wanted to charge us more to put him down and disspose of him. I was like what did you do with all the money that you have been charging us. Well we went to get a 2nd opion and we got about 1 extra year with him. And then we ended up putting him down. PROS: none CONS: spent alot got no where more
