I never write reviews but i had to for Angelo's. I've been coming here for longer than I can remember. The food is excellent and not too pricy, the sauces are amazing-- have you tried the SAMBUCA PRAWNS yet? Next time you come here, please do...One of the best dishes I've ever had. Angelo's has flavorful, authentic, dishes and the rotating specials are awesome and amazing Italian wines are underpriced for the huge glasses that you get. Some of my favorites are the Filet Roquefort, Seafood Canneloni, and Chicken Marsala. The Veal Parmesan is also delicious-- don't know what Jen is talking about. Also-- fish specials are great-- snapper in piccata sauce or salmon with pesto and fresh roasted veggies-- yum! You also get FREE bread and soup or salad with dinner entrees-- which almost never happens these days. In a world full of over-priced, low quality Italian restaurants, Angelos IS the best. It has been in business longer than any other Italian joint in Bellevue-- 37 years-- and that truly speaks for itself. Great for a romantic date or family gathering. Service always great, and not stuffy feeling. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed. more

If people think this is the best. I feel sorry for them. The service was excellent, I have to admit that. But, the food was very bland, and for $22 for ""Veal Parm"" I expect the sauce to at least have flavor. How anyone can go to a place where they don't use Garlic, onion or any spices in there sauce is beyond me. I can go home and put tomato paste and water in a pan and throw on some parsley for way less money. I will not be going back. Looks like I will have to go back to NJ for the ""REAL"" deal. more

Having recently moved to Bellevue, I wanted to explore the restaurants around me and Angelo's was one of those places I just didn't know what to expect. There's absolutely no curb appeal but various people recommended it and I'm glad I tried it.\r \r Great food, large portions, and some 70s charm :-) My only downside is that they don't quite offer as broad a range of Italian food as I would have hoped. I'm relatively new to this place, our usual client lunch place was full and I was just drifting down Northup (20th) looking for a spot. It's tucked off on a side street, and I never noticed it before. Well I should of, our lunch was dynamite. Aside from standard Italian fare, with excellent sauces, they have some in-house specialities that are outstanding, like the sausage sandwich with a mustard laced sauce I ate the first time I was there. Good bread, solid tomato sauces, reasonable prices . . . what else do you need? This is one of those places you can call your own and eat at for decades. I will.
