Worst expierience ever. Made reservations for my family for Thanksgiving thinking it would be a nice change. Wrong. For one, they completley overbooked the place. It was RIDICULOUS. It took almost 20 minutes just to get to the MANDATORY coat check. The upper and lower lobby were FILLED with people waiting on reservations. Complety disorganized. No staff to tell you where to go to even check in. You were forced to ask other patrons what to do. It took another 10 minutes to fight our way up the second floor dining room. Once there, i spent yet another 10 minutes trying to get past people wating around to find the ONE hostess they had in the buffet room. I gave my name to a woman who's entire greeting was ""Name?"" and then went and found my family where we were pinned against a wall for another 20 minutes till our name was called. more

We had made reservation for a 75th birthday party for our mother and we were a party of 20. The food was nothing to brag about, however the waitresses were good. Popovers were over cooked and my prime rib was served at room temperature. One of our party members ordered duck and it came out smelling terrible and they had to send it back and ended up ordering something else. To top off the night the hostess ""Dawn"" came to the table twice, the first time I thought it was to check and see how things were going, but then the second time was to ask us to leave because she needed the tables. She was told we had just received the check and were still finalizing the numbers. We were there less than two hours from when we sat and just spent close to $400 on a special event for our family and Dawns actions were unacceptable. Dawn was rude and her customer service skills leave much room for improvement. It was not a good experience on a special occasion and Angelica?s is NOT the place to enjoy memorable moments of your special event. more

From the beginning when we arrived the cashier was involved in a conversation w a friend that she did not want to break for a customer we waited a long time before she would acknowledge our presence, then immediately she says we don't have reservations (with out looking at the book) .I see our name there and point it out to her ,she replies go sit down ill call you , ignoring her as her attitude made it clear she didn't like minorities ,,,moving on to the dinner the ""poppers"" basically a waste of time ( its an air filled baked biscuit that has no inside ). The dinner itself was excellent we were a party of 10 everyone liked the food and price averaged $30 per person, But when i came time to pay the bill the waitress showed her personal prejudices once again,she asked who wanted the bill, i raised my hand and she then said no really who wants this,4 times I told her to hand me the bill , I looked at the waiter as to tell him get her to stop the crap, but she decides to explain the bill to a teenager at our table so they can explain it to me ( like it needed explaining at all) So in summary the food is good but i wont tolerate the good old boy demeanor of times past so they have lost my business Pros: The dinners are well prepared Cons: waitress pre judge patrons as to what quality of service more

Spent $125.00 for dinner for 4. Asked for a second popover for my mother-in-law, and was told they give one per person for free, then charge $1.50 for a second one. Food was really good. Service so-so. Won't be back.... Pros: Good food, plenty of parking. Cons: Booth seats had cracks. $1.50 for a 2nd popover after spending $125.00 for dinner. more

Wow what a meal. went there with my wife for her birthday.. first time there. reccommended by a friend. Pros: great solid meal, priced right, and great atmosphere Cons: i eat too much more

A frequented watering hole to my family. Ninty percent, it's great. In 10 years, I can think of ONE not so great visit. They were just too busy. While you peruse the menu, you are plied with great appetizers. Food is good and plentiful. Expect to carry a doggie bag. Reservations recommended. Pros: Lots of excellent food. Not an overbearing price. Cons: Not a place for dieters. You need your taste buds at the ready to enjoy it. Don't order fudge sundae. more

I was there for Mothers of Multiples Holiday Party. From the first moment, there was nobody there to welcome and help you find your party. You just had to guess where to go ! more

What a night! We had our engagement party at Angelica's on Sat. Sept. 30th. The room was perfect, the food was incredible and the staff was wonderful. We had a party of 50 Italian ""food critics"", and everyone was more than pleased! The best of the best from start to finish. We highly recommend Angelica's for all types of functions. Then you are going to love this place. I took my wife and my mom there for Mother's Day. We usually go to the Continental but lately I have been disappointed in the service, food, portions, etc. Pros: The appetizers; corn fritters, pop-overs. Along with banquet facilities they have a restaurant for couples, families and anybody that wants to enjoy 'service' with popovers and appetizers served at your table. Great place for a date or to refresh your relationship with your significant other. Piano bar was very romantic and lighting cozy. Pros: parking, service , ambiance more

Had our Mother's Birthday Party here On April 9th and I still can not get over the fabulous room and the staff, both were incredible. Most of the guest were Italian and they said they never tasted such great food and plenty of it . I would recommend this to any one. Pros: Inexplensive, Good parking, Great Service more
