Great variety of gelato 3/17/2005

This place has the most choices of gelato I've seen in LA. They've got everything from the traditional vanilla, to the more interesting flavors - strawberry cheesecake, kiwi and lychee sorbet. One recommendation is to get the pint, which is $5.95 and allows you to get 4 different flavors in a larger cup. A much better deal since one scoop is $3.25. more

Could eat it everyday! 12/6/2004

On a whim we stopped into the Angelato cafe for some dessert and the place was packed. I headed for the sorbet and found it soooo good. The best I have ever had. I even went back a few days later and even though it was probably about 40 degrees out I still had the double mango/pink grapefruit sorbet. The staff even gave us samples of flavors. This place is somethign straight from dessrt heaven! Pros: Helpful Staff, Tons of Variety, Great dishes! more

LOVED IT! 11/7/2004

Best place to go when you just want a tasty treat with less than half the fat of regular ice cream. The Gelato is smooth and the service was great. They're patient with you as you try to decide which yummy item to pick. I'm from San Diego and would totally drive to LA for this. Pros: Friendly, low-cal, GREAT! more
