Angela's Bridal

I am so happy I went with Angela's Bridal for my dress shopping experience! I purchased a dress from them back in January and came to realize it wasn't the dress for me. Needless to say, I was more than embarrased to go back to the shop and tell them I made the wrong decision. Well....they were so understanding and even encouraged me to try on my original dress. They gave me different options such as a different sash or a bolero. They never once pushed me to get a second sale. Unfortunately, in the end, it just wasn't the dress for me. They understood and allowed me to try on other dresses in the store. Eventually I found "the one" and couldn't be happier. They truly took good care of me and showed enormous amounts of patience for such an unsure bride. Thank you to all the staff at Angela's! I can't wait to wear my beautiful gown! more

Every little girl dreams about there wedding and the dress they will be wearing. When you are young it all seems so simple, the truth is it can be a very stressful time and you want everything to be so perfect. I had purchased my prom dress from Angelas, in my junior year of high school. I remember the experience to be a great one. The customer service was fantastic. We had a great experience then, so why not go back for my wedding gown. Angelas has a lovely staff and beautiful gowns! I am also purchasing my bridesmaid gowns there. The experience for both my gown and my bridesmaids gowns was an absolute pleasure. I can't wait to go for my dress inspection next week! more

The search for the perfect wedding dress can potentially become a stressful venture, however the supportive and caring staff at Angela's Bridal made my experience an absolute dream. While I was initially unsure of my vision of my perfect dress, my bridal consultant was able to effectively bring that vision into focus. Through her attentive listening and close attention to details, she led me to my perfect dress and those much anticipated tears of pure joy when you find it! My experience was so wonderful that my bridesmaids and my mother have purchased their dresses at Angela's Bridal as well! While the non-stop wedding shows might sway you to think you have to head to Manhattan to find that "perfect dress" - those of us living in the Capital District really need look no farther than Angela's Bridal. Plus - along with a beautiful selection - you get the benefit of local "care and support" that extends beyond that initial selection. My daughter, her bridal party and I have all not only found "the perfect dress" - but have been welcomed warmly on return trips for everything from needing extra fabric swatches to "just needing a peek" at that beautiful gown! When so many are decrying how weddings have become such an industry -- Angela's Bridal has maintained that wonderful recognition that for each bride - her wedding is the one and only wedding in the world that matters at the moment. more

The staff at Angela's Bridal made what could have been a stressful process of finding the perfect wedding gown both easy and fun. I was not sure of the style or type of dress that I wanted when I went for my initial appointment. My bridal consultant Kayte presented me with beautiful gowns that fit both my body type and budget. I was able to find "the dress" that day and I absolutley love it. I could not have asked for a better experience as the staff made me feel like I was the only appointment they had scheduled that afternoon. I will definitely return to Angela's for another dress the next time I have a special event. Thank you!! more

When I was married over 7 years ago I found the dress of my dreams at Angela's bridals. After having several bad experiences at other shops I went there and they were nice, accommodating and made me feel so at ease the entire time. I recently had the opportunity to return again, this time as part of a wedding party for a close friend of mine. She had already picked out her dress (which is one of the most stunning dresses I have ever seen) and we chose our dresses which are great too. The staff (especially Kayte) was great to work with and assisted us with looking at ever possible dress and style to giving suggestions on what to wear for shoes and accessories. With so many years having passed I was concerned things would have changed but they have only gotten better and I would recommend them to anyone else I know who is getting married or going to be in a wedding. EVERYONE at Angela's Bridal is attentive, very well-versed in dress construction and what would look best on all body types, and extremely respectful. Not only were wedding dresses, mother of the bride, mother of the groom and bridesmaids dresses purchased by our bridal party BUT consider Angela's unique selection for all your specialty dresses, we even found the bridal shower dress, rehersal dinner dress, just an evening out dress at terrific prices. I absolutely adore Angela's Bridal- the staff is incredibly nice and the dresses are gorgeous. I had no clue what I wanted in a wedding dress, and went in several times before I actually chose the one... well... two! (Everyone needs a party dress for after their wedding!) My daughter got married last winter and we purchased her dress, her attendants dresses, the flower girls dress and my dress at Angela's. Everyone was wonderful, they made us feel like we were the only customers there and were very important. Kayte was wonderful she listened and knew exactly what to show us. Janet could not have been more accommodating during the fittings. They made sure we loved our selections and were happy with the alterations. My son just got engaged and we would not think of going anywhere else for the dresses and personal service you get at Angela's I'd give them 10 stars if that was a rating choice. Don't bother going anywhere else they are the best. Pros: Great selection of dresses and fantastic staff Cons: none I can think of more

I went looking for 'the dress' at Angela's about one month ago. I saw that they had an upcoming trunk show for Paloma Blanca, a designer I had my eyes on since even before I was engaged! So, I called to make an appointment. After explaining to the consultant the style of dress I was interested in, she recommended I come to a trunk show for another designer that was coming as well, so I did (Augusta Jones). The consultant was right on track - I fell in love with one of the Augusta Jones dresses and that was that! more

I have been waiting all my life to have the ultimate bridal experience and I received just that at Angela?s Bridal? I saw a picture in a magazine of the dress that I really wanted and I knew that Angela?s had it. When I got there and told my consultant she said to me lets not do that one first I want you to really enjoy this. I had tried on around 10 other dresses then the one I loved. I am so glad I tried on all the others because it really mad the experience worth it. I found my dress!!! We even got a champagne toast when I found the one!!! Everyone I have dealt with there has been nothing but amazing. I feel like I am the only bride when I talk to them I have also gotten all of my bridesmaids dresses there as well?. I truly recommended everyone going to Angela?s if you want a true bridal experience!!!! more

their collection is ok but customer service is awful. They are nice to you before you pay for the dress, as soon as they get money you are screwed. I didn't have enough time for new dress , so i had to buy one off the rack. they didn't give me any discount and they promised that everything will be perfect, they dress will look as good as new. Every time i went for my fitting i would point out the problems with the dress and they would give me attitude and say when you pick it up it will be perfect. The day when i picked it up the dress still had all the problems that i had pointed out before and they were rude when i brought them up. Finally i had accept the dress with all the problems. Anybody that is looking for a dress MUST go to Angela's Bridal. I am a bride to be that has been to every bridal shop from Glens Falls to Albany...... on several occasions. I saw the commercial while watching Say Yes to the Dress and I knew I had to go. When entering their store you instantly feel a personalized warm welcome. THEY REALLY WANT TO HELP YOU!!!! I found other stores mildly overwhelming. Kayte was my sales person although sales person is hardly the way to describe her. Trying on so many dresses prior, I kind of had an idea of what I was looking for. I started describing what I wanted and Kayte was instantly grabbing dresses for me. HER TASTE WAS RIGHT ON! People kept saying to me, when you put the dress on you will know. After trying on maybe 3-4 dresses Kayte knew exactly which dress I needed to try on next. That next dress was it for me. The Enzoani line was so amazing but when I put on "Dawn" I just knew it was my dress. I don't think I ever would have put it on had Kayte not recommended it. It was like destiny. Truly a one of a kind experience that I did not get at any other store. Kayte and the staff at Angela's absolutely do EVERYTHING they can to make sure I have my dream dress and that's definately what it is..... MY DREAM DRESS!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! So any bride that has not found EXACTLY what she's looking for you MUST go to Angela's because those girls have big hearts, open ears and FANTASTIC TASTE!!!! THANKS AGAIN KAYTE!!!! this is the best bridal store in the area, hands down!!! the entire staff and owner and so friendly and personable, they really go out of their way to answer any and all questions! they know each customer by name and always are interested in *your* special occasion! unlike other bridal stores in the area they are ready and willing to help you even without an appointment. i stopped in during a trunk show and even though they were busy the owner made time for me and i ended up buying my wedding dress that day!! don't even bother going anywhere else!!! I too had a fantastic time at Angela's Bridal. I recently purchased my wedding dress there, and had such a great time! I made an appointment (which they recommend), and was even 30 minutes late. My sales person, Kate, was fantastic. I told her exactly what my dress had to be like, and she knew more what I wanted than I did! In the end, I ended purchasing the dress she first chose for me. It was perfect! There was plenty of space to try on dresses, and there were plenty of mirrors. It's a small boutique, but not cramped by any means. Because I went when there was a trunk show, we were offered chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, and champagne. After I bought the dress, everyone came to share my champagne toast and congratulate me! I think some people are really just too hard to please! Pros: Service Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

I have read these reviews and I am taken aback by the terrible things said about Angela's Bridal. It does not sound like the same store I went to. This is a family run store and I have had the most wonderful experience there and would recommend it to all of my girlfriends that are getting married. The dresses are georgous and the staff love what they do and it shows. There are no 'closet sized' rooms, on the contrary to what has been said, the store is beautiful. I have been in the store several times between my bridal gown, bridesmaid's and Mother of the Bride purchase and I would decribe the experience I had and what I have witnessed as professional and expectionally great service. more
