Angela Van School Of Ballet

The instructor is not nice or friendly. She doesn't even allow parents to change clothing for their girls in the restroom, instead, asking them to do so in the corner of the wall. This is very unreasonable. The entrance area of the school is very small and usually with lots of people there, so how could a parent change clothing for a girl in front of so many people? She always takes class hours to measure shoe sizes, take orders from parents, exchange gift goody bags, and take Christmas pictures for kids. Each class is 1 hour long, and it could easily take 20 minutes for her to measure the shoe sizes for each girl in the class. Sometimes a class can easily have more than 15 students. Parents pay the tuitions for their kids to learn ballet, not for exchanging goody bags. This is simply waste of time and money. more

Angela Van School of Ballet provides excellent training for all levels for classical ballet. Both my daughters are in the school and are having fun while learning the proper ballet technique. They dance to classical ballet music as well as learn the classical ballet steps and terms. The children (both girls and boys) learn to be disciplined and develop good posture and confidence in performing on stage. There is an annual recital which in volves all the students in all age groups. This is an exciting time with good music, beautiful costumes and wonderful dances choreographed by Angela Van. I rate this school highly because I can see the children and my daughters are having a lot of fun while learning and making new friends. My family and I also enjoy watching their performances at the recitals. Highly recommended for beginners or intermediate dancers alike.
