We spent two nights at Angel of the Sea in the off-season. There are some great mid-week specials that really are a steal such as buy one night, get one half off. Rates run from $175 for the two nights to $315. We had a room of the first floor of the main building (room 2). It was clean and surprisingly quiet since it was practically right off the dining room. There was a nice day bed to stretch out and read. Small bathroom. Delicious breakfast, tea at 4 with several treats (and coffee) and wine and cheese at 5:30. By the time you consider how much all this food would cost you elsewhere, your actual room rate is more like a roadside motel. Sitting on the porches, in front of the parlor fireplace or riding the bikes that are provided are all great ways to spend an afternoon.
