Best

I love the chicken tikka masala and aloo gobi with naan. I have eaten at quite a few indian restaurants and this seems like one of the best in the Atlanta-Roswell area.

There is no Indian restaurant that does not have a 4 / 4.5 star review. Pl be careful. We are an unethical breed of people and inflate our ratings. Least realising that all indian restaurants end up being 4.5 on 5. Pl use word of mouth and personal discretion to visit all of these restaurants. more

Awsome Food! Great Service! 3/28/2007

I'm not an Indian cuisine expert, but this is by far my favorite Indian restaurant, and I've been to several. The atmosphere is great. The service is super friendly. I often crave their shaahi chicken (butter chicken). If you're in the mood for good Indian food, try Angan! Pros: Food, Service more

Food was nasty 3/7/2007

I went there after reading internet reviews. I went for chaats and found nothing on the menu. I ordered a chicken dish and could not understand the taste and snacks were kind of reheated, not fresh at all. more

Best Indian Food in Greater Atlanta 10/19/2006

I'm not usually a food snob, but I know my Indian food, and this place has the best in all of metro Atlanta. I go to the weekend lunch buffet at least once a month. I definitely recommend lunch over dinner, because at dinner you have to order off of the menu, which is pretty pricey. Whenever you go, try out the Mango Milkshake from the drinks/appetizers menu. This one item is worth the trip to Angan. Pros: amazing indian food, buffet Cons: prices, atmosphere isn't that great more

Great Indian Food 10/6/2006

I love the food here. The chicken dishes are made with white meat chicken. Service is great. I never dine-in, though...the restaurant is decent looking but nothing spectacular. Great service...the girl who you talk to when you call to place a pick-up order and who you pay at the cash register is very nice. I order take-out once a month. It is a wee bit pricey (I think), but the food is delicious. Pros: Yummy Food, Fast Pick-up, Nice People Cons: A little bit pricey more

Excellent 9/8/2005

Super delicious food. The best of all the Indian restaurants. Very pretty & romantic decor for a romantic evening. Lots of vegetarian/non vegetarian choices. No competition really. I found this to be the best joint in Atlanta/Usa. All of my friends that dined there felt very nice and loved the food. Excellent service. The Lassi's are awesome. We would love to be back more

Never Again! 6/12/2004

I went here for their ""premium weekend lunch buffet"".....and I'll never go there again...Not only was the food cold but it was nasty...It was very oily and greasy--even the rice?....The only good thing about this place was the service, the waiter brought fresh naan(hard & flat) to my table---but that was only because it wasn't any left at the buffet table...I guess I arrived too late because there wasn't much of anything left @ the table....So, if you do visit this place---arrive early!! Pros: Service Cons: , Food, Food more

Great Northern Indian place 10/31/2003

Fairly small strip shopping center location which the hands-on owners have done a nice job of making into a warm, pleasant dining room. Food is some of the best northern Indian in Atlanta, and tables of Indian couples and families often fill part of the dining room. Try ordering a thali (vegetarian or non-vegetarian) to sample several entrees with rice and bread. Servers are not always attentive as they should be on things like refilling glasses - they are often a bit understaffed - but all seem caring and helpful. Great place for a moderately priced but special dinner for a couple or a group - nice change from the usual suburban chains. Pros: Food, Location, Value Cons: Service a little slow more
