Samsung drier repair 3/20/2016

Called Andy's on a Monday morning and a service representative was out at the designated afternoon time the same day. Very friendly service and knowledgeable about the Samsung appliance. Also had previously done business over the phone to purchase parts for an old drier for a family member who lives in a small Nebraska community where no service is available. Andy''s was very willing to look up parts needed and order in if needed. Highly recommend. more

We had a recall on our dishwasher requiring replacement parts to prevent overheating. Bill H was out to our house right on time. He was both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Excellent service. more

Took too long and way to expensive. 10/15/2015

From the error we supplied from our Whirlpool washer, the repairman should have had the new valve. He came and verified that we did, indeed, need a new valve. They said they had to order it and took a week to get it. I called Sears appliance and they had it in stock. It is a very common part that is even carried on Amazon. The charge for about 1 hour work was about $200 plus the cost of the part. I could have put it in myself within 15 minutes. My daughter replaced the same part on her machine in less than that by watching a how to video on the internet. I don't mind paying for service, but I do mind feeling ripped off or overcharged. I wouldn't use Andy's appliance again. more

Reliable Helpful Excellent and simply great 7/22/2015

It's obvious to me that Andys cares about their customers. They've been out several times to repair different appliances. Recently it was my refrigerator which has been behaving badly. To say they did a good job is putting it mildly. Sometimes things cannot be fixed, sometimes mistakes happen, sometimes it takes time for parts to be ordered. That is life. And Andys kept their word. My only regret is that they do not repair everything. Oh well at least I know my appliances will always be cared for. more

Washing machine repair 7/16/2015

Called and at service call received a detailed diagnosis of the defective part and replacement cost as well as estimated arrival of pump. Technicians arrived on time and had machine running in less than 30 minutes. Second time to use Andy's on an appliance and give them an A+ rating! more

Samsung washer 7/13/2015

Had them out on a issue with the washer , fixed it and a week later the same problem. Fixed it again while under warranty. 6 months later the issue again and i had to pay $84.00 service call. Bolt was not tightened from the repairs. One week later washing a load and the same problem. This is all with the same Tech. How would you rate this service ? more

I had problems with my refrigerator and called them this am. They were here in less than a hour and had my refrigerator up and running 7/11/2015

I called then at 8 am today to fix my refrigerator. They were here by 8:30 and had my refrigerator up and running by 9 am. GE dishwasher service call 6/17/2015

Outstanding service from initial call through service visit. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Set up appointment with initial 6-hour window for service call, but as the day approached, Andy's called to give me a 2-hour time frame. Used credit card to make payment. Highly recommend, based on quality of technician. And he said Andy's treats its employees well. All good! more

Andy's Appliance repair does not stand behind their work 6/16/2015

I had a GE counter microwave repaired last November (11/2014). The microwave was under GE warranty, it was repaired and worked fine for 7 months. It is June (6/2015) and the microwave is having the same issue. I contacted Andy's to see if they stand behind their work. Since it was repaired under the GE warranty, they do not stand behind their repair. RESPONSE FROM Andy's Appliance Repair: Good morning Lisa GE contracted Andy's to repair your microwave in November 2014 that was still under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer warranty on your microwave expired in December 2014. It is the sole decision of the manufacturer and not the service company if they are willing to cover that repair. Repair Took Much Longer 5/15/2015

I had an over-the-range microwave oven stop cooking. Since I didn’t want a tech scratching up my cabinetry, I removed the microwave myself (disconnecting the vent ducting, etc.) and took in for in-shop repair on a Monday. It was supposed to be ready at the end of the week. Before they would work on it I had to pre-pay for the repair (weird but okay). Friday came and no call from Andy’s. I called and they said they have to order parts and it would be another week. Well, in Omaha I happen to know you can get parts in one day from at least two different parts suppliers. So a week for parts is a bit of a stretch. Next week came and again, no call. I called on Thursday and they were closed at 4:00pm for the day. The next day the Lincoln office called back and said it would be ready next Monday (15 days). I explained this was there for two weeks and unacceptable plus I needed it for Mother’s Day weekend. The tech said she ‘Would do what she could’. When I escalated and asked to talk with the manager (Greg) he would not even talk to me! What kind of manager won’t talk with a concerned customer?? This kind of customer service is amazing in this day and age. It eventually got fixed on Friday afternoon. When I picked it the microwave cabinet was not put back together and had a large gap in the front where you could see inside the microwave (and there are pictures). In fairness the tech did offer correct the issue but I just wanted a working microwave – gap and all. I corrected the issue by reinstalling the panels correctly and mounted it back over the range. This was my first experience with Andy’s and I definitely will not be back. more

Great service, excessive labor charge 5/3/2015

Andy's came out to fix our Whirlpool Dryer. Prompt, courteous service. Technician who came out was very friendly, polite and seemed knowledgeable. I would highly recommend...except for the fact that it took him maybe 20-30 minutes to put $50 worth of new parts in the dryer...and we were charged $219 labor. Thats over $400/hour labor charge. Nice job - but excessive labor charge... more
