This review is especially hard to write because, as others have stated, Julie is extremely friendly and nice! The day of your wedding, however, you aren't going to care how nice your florist is if you don't like your flowers. The day of our wedding Julie dropped off our bouquets at the hotel (after numerous phone calls and emails to even find out when and where she was coming) and much to my horror, they were nothing like I ordered. The flowers were incorrect, the color was off, they were nothing like our final order (which we reviewed AGAIN only one week prior). Moving on to the reception, my horror continued. Flowers were again incorrect and the wrong color! (Not to mention MUCH smaller than anticipated) I asked Julie to place certain flowers on my cake during setup and provided a picture of exactly how they should look - not only were the flowers the wrong color on the cake, they were in the wrong spot and just looked altogether horrible. (I can't look at a picture of the cake without cringing). To make matters worse, after the wedding and honeymoon, I contacted Julie to explain why I was not happy with the flowers and all I received back was a curt email saying she couldn't get the flowers I wanted so she substituted and that was the end of it. No explanation on the other issues, no offer for refund.
Bottom line is this, flowers were not that important to me in the grand scheme of the entire wedding but I still expected to get what I ordered and paid for (peonies and hydrangea are pretty different). Julie is very nice and very affordable but you get what you pay for (including the service offered). If you don't mind getting whatever flowers are in her shop the weekend of your wedding and waiting a week or two for a response from a phone call or email then maybe she's the vendor for you.
