The best value I have found! 3/25/2011

This is the second time I have purchased glasses here. I am budget minded and so I checked all the chains - Walmart, Costco, Sears, etc., and Andrews Optical offers the best value. The knowledge of the optician/owner is what makes the difference. She took the time to put me in glasses that will work best for my situation. The wide range of frame choices it the best I have seen. The perfect blend of what you get at a private Doctor's office and the variety and price range from a chain. more

Best in Carlsbad 2/6/2011

I've been going to Andrews for 5 years, I just got my new exam at Costco and they don't have any lens selection, so I go to Andrews. She has more durable lenses, unlike Costco, who don't give you the time of day either. Went in on Thursday, and she called me on Saturday to pick it up! Unbelievable fast service unless it's a complicated Rx/lens, it's maybe 5 days. $69(coupon mailer), and she takes some insurance, I just gave her the form. more

I stumbled into Diane's shop 15 years ago, and I haven't shopped anywhere else since. She has an amazing selection of frames, great prices, and first class service. more

Andrews Optical is the Best! 4/10/2008

I have been an Andrews Optical customer for over ten years, and wouldn't trust anyone else with my optical needs. \r Diane Andrews is extremely professional, and does first-rate work. \r I could get my glasses in an hour some place else, but not with the level of care and professionalism I get with Diane and her staff.\r Also, I have never seen SO MANY frame choices! It's almost mind boggling, the variety she offers! more

I live in San Diego. When I need new glasses, I drive the distance to Andrews Optical in Carlsbad, CA. Diane Andrews is knowledgeable and skilled beyond any I have dealt with in my 60 years. Prices are fair, selection is thorough, and they get the job done professionally. I have never written a review before, but I wanted to take the time to show my appreciation for the past great 10 years of service I have received from Andrews Optical. more
